You have to be very careful with these bits. When they break through to the other side of the material being drilled they will screw themselves right down to the chuck and if your hand is near any part of the piece being drilled you can get your fingers smashed. I thought this was a quirk in my first set but when many of them broke I bought a second set. Same problem. They screw themselves right through the material being drilled instantly without completing the hole. They are very difficult to hold back and prevent this from happening.

Mine is a couple years old now and has had no problems. Once you get the fence set to square with the blade, if stays there pretty well. The miter rotation is easy to move and is quite accurate for most all projects, including frames. The blade that comes with the saw isn't the greatest for fine woodworking, but is acceptable if you move the cut slowly. Certainly, a higher quality blade can be purchased if needed. I mostly use mine for rough crosscuts on longer boards and some small frames. Truthfully, I like using the table saw for very precise angle cuts, but that's my fault with not getting it set up to near perfection, not the machine's. The battery worked well when i first got it but after a year it was pooped out and would not take much of a charge. This was my second replacement so i got a Bosch to replace the dewalt. Dewalt had two batteries that came with it one of them was no good.

The collet fit perfectly in my P-C Router; the sides even align perfectly with those on the chuck when tightened. It was well packet and timely shipped, too. Thanks, I could not be happier with the collet.

I've owned these Stanley screwdrivers for years and haven't had any issues with them. I work with computers and for opening computer cases and light household work, they do just fine. That said, I wouldn't use them in any truly demanding environment (such as auto work). The other reviewers may have a point. The may break if they've changed the manufacturing process in the last five years.

The perfect tool has not been invented yet. With that in mind, this tool comes pretty close. Right out of the case, you can tell you have an impressive tool in your hand. And when you turn it on, you know you have an impressive tool in your hand. I am a woodworker by heart but a long shot from a pro. I have been living with a old Black and Decker and two Craftsman routers. (I believe made by Porter Cable in those days, not sure.) When I first bought these drill bits I was delighted. They are agressive and the pilot bit makes starting large bits very easy. I did a lot of work with hardwoods. Things changed this weekend. I used a handheld drill and did some drilling in softwood and it was rather frustrating. The last quarter-inch or so the bit grabbed and basically "screwed" its way through to the other side, leaving pieces of undrilled wood to act as the threads. The problem wouldn't have occurred had I been using a drill press (I think), but given the very agressive nature of this drills I will limit the amount I use them, particularly with softwoods and with a handheld drill.
