For a small, light multi-tool, this Leatherman has been my favorite. Unlike the Gerber it replaced, all the tools come out without difficulty. The quality is nice and it's small/light enough to not be noticed in the pocket. That's why various airports have a collection of my old tools.

I've used the regular versapak in my dustbuster for years and just replaced it with the Gold when my original battery could no longer take a charge. The difference is amazing - the amount of time you can perform a task before losing good performance is much longer than that of the regular battery paks. I am about to order two more for other dustbusters I have throughout the house.

This one is not as good as the other classic pocket knives. It doesn't have the tweezers or the tooth pick. For less money you can get one of the transluscent colored ones...much more appealing to the eye! Trust me I have one of these on every set of keys I own. This one just feels cheap!!

Li-Ion battery has not memory effect, so you can just charge it whenever you want. 2. The Weller WES51 is without a doubt the absolute best soldering iron that a working man can justify spending the money on. It's the ONLY heavy duty iron you'll ever find that allows exact temp settings for under a hundred bucks. It allows you to set the temp only a few degrees above the melting point of the solder, greatly enhancing the quality of your work. And it's a heavy duty unit, so unlike the cheap lightweight ripoffs. The rugged and user friendly design reminds me of something made in the 1950s or 1960s. Well done, Weller!

I'm a big fan of the 18volt B&D line - have their regular hedge trimmer, the extended trimmer, the pole saw, the chainsaw, blower, and several others. I've always wanted one of the Alligator cutters since it came out, but the fact that it was corded held me back. Most of the time, the time and hassle of dealing with an electrical cord makes doing it by hand easier. So pleased to see that B&D came out with a cordless version of the Alligator! Works great, and solves one of the biggest problems of cutting limbs - chopping them into smaller lengths for disposal. The cordless chainsaw does a great job of getting the limb to the ground, but you have to prop up the limb before cutting it into pieces so you don't hit the ground with the chain. I bought this nailer on the strengths of all the 5 stars awarded by other reviewers. So with great anticipation, I waited for it to arrive. Then I was deeply disappointed when even with pressure set to the maximum 120PSI and depth adjustment turned all the way for maximum penetration, the heads of the brad remained above the wood. I shot over 50 brads with this consistent problem. I read others have modified the safety by filing it down, but why should I do this irreversibly to a new tool that is reputed to be so perfect? If I did this, wouldn't it make the no-mar pads not fit snugly on the bulbouse shaped safety tip? I wonder if there is another way to adjust the safety protrusion without filing it down (depth adjuster doesn't do it). If you like this design, you might want to check out the work of the craftsman whose tool design was copied without permission for this tool. Peter Atwood has been making a tool called the "Prybaby" that has an almost identical design minus the clumsily added knife blade. Gerber has never contacted Mr. Atwood but just copied the design and made small modifications to evade patent issues. Fortunately, Peter has a lot more ideas, though given how successful this one is, Gerber will probably copy the rest of them. Buying this product is a great way to send your dollars to Chinese slave factories where stolen products are manufactured instead of supporting innovative American toolmakers. It's your choice.

The battery works, but for a short time only, and it does not hold a charge very well...kind of dissapointed in it...
