I couldn't find one of these at any of the "big box stores" so I got it from here, which is better anyway since I probably would have paid more at the store I'm sure. These wheels don't wear down for a long time. I've still got the original in my 500X and that's after sharpening at least 100 bits many times over. In my opinion the grinding wheel is better than the machine itself, at least the 500X (see my review for that if you wish).

Great pruners - the rotating handle mechanism virtually eliminates sore hands and the dreaded "pinch" when a branch suddenly breaks and the fleshy part of your thumb or palm gets caught. After some heavy pruning this season, these finally gave out after years of service. Absolutely no complaints considering the abuse they took. I'm buying two pairs and dumping my others into the recycle bin for good. Once you've tried these, you won't accept the other junk that's out there, no matter how expensive and what brand name they may have.

This is a simple to use tool, with easy to understand instructions. Probably written by someone who speaks and writes English as a first language. My drill bits were in fairly good shape, so it took only seconds to sharpen each bit to precision. This is a must have tool. I only wish they would come out with one that sharpens spade bits.

Love the combo scissor and pliers. This is the only combo with these two tools I could find that wasn't really big or fat. Worth the extra cost over the regular Tinker.

This tool is certainly up to the task. As another reviewer said, this is no pocket knife. It is a large tool for tough, life-depends-on-it jobs. Can be operated while wearing gloves! True to Victorinox heritage, it is well-designed and high quality.

Fits great in the hand and surprisingly lightweight, well balanced. I do like the included strap for hands free operation; with the swivel head you can point it where you need it while it is slung over your shoulder. For those who complained about the strap--don't attach it. Battery compatibility was not a problem either. My compact 18V 1.5 Ah Li-ion battery fit perfectly with no need to punch out an insert. It uses the A-90261 bulb, which is described as a Xenon bulb on Makita's web site. It produces an amazing amount of light. For $18.25 what a good value. Replacement bulbs are reasonable, $4.79 with free shipping from Northern Tool. Too soon to need bulbs, but good idea to be prepared. They will probably break if the flashlight is jarred or dropped during use.

I bought this about 4 months ago, and I loved it. There are a ton of hex heads. The magnet is nice, you can slap the holder any where, and it sticks. However, I won't purchase this again. Its a pain in the butt to constantly have to rotate the head around to find your bit. If you are in low light, its difficult to tell which bit you want. You end up shaking the thing, trying to get the bit out. Next time, I will purchase a a box that opens. It is so much easier and quicker to find the bits you need.

In 20 passes, your knife should go from dull to sharp. Works OK with larger blades, like the Fiskars axes too. So easy to use.
