The Insinkerator Evolution Excel is simply the best!!!! This year for Thanksgiving, a guest was helping in the kitchen and put a large amount of potato peels down the disposer. I was concerned because not only was the disposer jammed full of potato peels, but there were a bunch of peels in the sink waiting to be stuffed into the disposer. (This has happened with our old disposer and I got the privilege of trying to unclog a clogged sink - not a fun thing to do with a house full of company). I'm really glad to finally have a disposal for this house that is on septic. No matter how diligent we were, some food particles always ended up in the sink and periodically caused drain line problems. Installation was straight forward even though I did not have an existing disposal to replace. My two biggest challenges were getting an electric outlet under the sink and removing the old corroded sink flange. For electric I mounted a GFCI outlet under the sink and added the optional power cord kit and sink top switch. This eliminated the need to add a wall switch since I did not have an existing disposal. Seven years ago our main sewer line started backing up into the house. I rented a plumber's snake and routed the line. When I removed the snake, the cutting blade was filled with small tree roots. After researching "root killer systems" I tried Roebic. I have been using it once a year since with no recurrent sewerline problems. It works wonderfully. As has been stated elsewhere, the product tends to clump in the package over time (I buy mine a year in advance). Don't try to empty this clumped product directly from the package into the toilet or it can overflow. I dump it into an old coffee can or pail and use an old fashioned mashed potato masher to break up the clumps and then dump it into the toilet from the larger container. Our water pressure is very low, and eventually the kitchen sink sprayer stopped working completely. This made it very hard to rinse dishes. So I was excited to find this item. Although the EuroJet didn't exactly turn our faucet into a "powerful jet spray," it did solve our problem without having to call a plumber. I like the double swivel action, which makes it easy to direct the spray wherever I want it. It classes up our older kitchen, too.

This is a great filter for my older Frigidaire model refrigerator. It is easy to replace and the water tastes great. You will find it more expensive at other sites especially when you have to add in shipping for other sites.

My husband and I spent a long time trying to find an affordable bronze vessel faucet, and when I found this one, I nearly flipped! We were expecting to have to buy a drain for this, because it wasn't clear if it came with one, and many don't. Not being a plumber, this seemed a little confusing, but when I opened the package, the perfectly sized grid drain was right there!! I was expecting to have to spend even more money, so I definitely consider this a great value. It looks so nice and well made, and is too cool!! I'm very satisfied!
