Nice idea, but right from the first day, even with fresh batteries, I'd go out at night to test it with my hand, and it would not trigger, regardless of the sensitivity. During the day it worked just fine. I'm near Los Angeles, so the weather is not an issue. I bought it months ago, and only opened it this week, so I can't return it. Make sure you test yours right away.

Even though I live in California and we don't have much of seasons.. It's a great product, thick, well made, fits perfect on our 22 inch Old Smokey Grill, and basically does it's job.

Great pruners - the rotating handle mechanism virtually eliminates sore hands and the dreaded "pinch" when a branch suddenly breaks and the fleshy part of your thumb or palm gets caught. After some heavy pruning this season, these finally gave out after years of service. Absolutely no complaints considering the abuse they took. I'm buying two pairs and dumping my others into the recycle bin for good. Once you've tried these, you won't accept the other junk that's out there, no matter how expensive and what brand name they may have.

Eventually you will need replacement filters for your Woodworker's Respirator. When you order your respirator, add this 4 pack in with the order. You will be glad you have the spares. Never sand or router without a respirator! PVC dust, and bamboo dust are about as bad as asbestos. Some wood dust is highly allergetic, or will build up toxicity in the system that may not hit you for days after. Be safe. Change filters often.

My neighbor and I shared the already low cost of this chipper. After it arrived (no shipping cost)we started putting it together in his garage. We quickly realized that due to its weight and some awkwardness in the assembly process, it much easier to have two men working on it. The awkward part was in assembling the legs and axle to the motor housing. The instructions were also not quite specific enough as to where to insert the two metal "hard points" into the leg tubes. The hard points are two metal slugs with bolt holes drilled into them that are meant to keep the legs tubes from deforming when the motor mount bolts are tightened. This is my husband's favorite tool for grilling and cooking meat without overcooking or undercooking. We had a Redicheck thermometer for many years and just recently to go on a search for a new one. Unfortunately the store where we purchased the original unit had closed. Wefound other thermometers, but they were just not the quality or the price we had with the Redicheck. I finally located the same exact Redicheck unit on Amazon. We love the RediCheck Remote Cooking Thermometer and the great prices and service from Amazon.
