For the price, Dap's "Dap Cap" is the best caulking trowel around that I've found. It's best suited for indoor applications-- kitchen/shower/tub, ideally. It will take up to a 5/16" bead and even it out far better than I have ever been able to do with my finger or any other trowel. I do have some experience caulking, but this little piece of plastic is well suited for beginners, as well. It also works as a cap for unused caulk, as the name suggests.

This is not a good product. The hose loses its spiral integrity by only stepping on it. The metal connect is cutting into the hose only after a few uses. This is a $7 china special.

I've had mine about a year now. Have re-sprayed all the plantation shutters in the house, all the louver doors, several pieces of furniture with shellac and lacquer, and all of it looks great. No problems spraying acrylic latex as long as you thin it a bit, and adding some Flotrol is a good idea. I spray latex at about 45-55 psi. Don't worry about tearing the paper gasket, the gun works just as well without it -- mason jar lid seals well enough, and of course there is an air vent in the lid anyway. I really loved using it when I refinished an old wooden file cabinet set, building up many layers of shellac and a final couple coats of polyurethane. The piece gleams now. This bag is not as substantial I thought it would be after reading the description. Before we even completed packing the tree, a tear occurred in a seam. The tree fit the bag, so the tear didn't result from forcing a too big tree into a too small bag, nor did we puncture the bag. Evidently, we received the bag with a weakened area in the seam near the tear.

I think this double-sided carpet tape is wonderful, and it does what nothing else was able to do, and that is: to adhere carpet runners to carpet on the floor. It worked perfectly for me, and I would recommend it to anyone who has to do the same. It's fairly easy to remove the backing...I've got arthritis, so it's not quite as easy as it would normally be to remove the backing from one side of the tape.

This stuff works, just make sure your surface is smooth. For a wall that has been painted several times, perhaps by cheap labor before you owned the home, you should heavily sand the area of wall you intend to paint and maybe even coat it with plaster to get a new wall surface. If it's rough you can't really write/draw anything small and it's really hard to erase.

After reading the glowing reviews, I figured this stick would work miracles on my wide plank maple hardwood floors. The reality is it hides s small white scratch for a few hours before the oil dries and the scratch is just as visible as before. A much better alternative for hiding scratches is Mohawk Furniture Scratch Remover. I have used Mohawk with amazing results.

I've used these little scrapers everywhere -- home, garage, and office. You might not think such a small handle offers much improvement over a bare blade, but it provides significantly more control and leverage. The blade does not retract, but you can store the scraper by reversing the blade so the sharp edge is inside the handle. Or, if you're lazy like me, you can also wedge the blade between two flat surfaces such as the front & bottom of a drawer.
