Like several others here, I also managed to break the whole head off of the tool. I wrote to the company and suggested they make a heavy-duty version. I also suggested a "cutter-mattock" in a heavy-duty model. The next thing I knew, I had another extendable hoe delivered. By then I had already bought a replacement for the original one. These are VERY useful tools but can't take rough usage. Also the grip required a dose of Gorilla glue to keep from sliding off. When I break the ones I have, I'll buy more. They are THAT good!

I am very pleased with the purchase of my Fiskar Ratchet Pruner #7685. I have arthritis in my fingers and have been unable to return to my gardening. Now thanks to my ratchet pruner, I am back in business. My husband was very skeptical of this purchase; however, since I can now help him in the yard, he thinks I made a wise decision. I was so excited to receive this product. I own a Mobile Dog Grooming business and I need to use my hose year-round. In the winter, a traditional hose cart (the kind with wheels), would get it's wheels full of snow, and thereby getting snow in my house when I'd bring it inside so it doesn't freeze. This cart is so much easier, you just pick it up and move it. I do wish however that the hose was a better quality. It's a little flimsy, so I don't know how well it will hold up over time. I guess time will tell. But so far, I am loving this!!

We have been impressed with the other Fiskars products and my husband decided to choose this rake because we needed a product such as this to aid in reseeding our yard. Needless to say he was very happy in his decision and would recommend it highly. It is a very useful tool to have.
