I probably would never pay $40 or $50 for hand clippers as I have not yet achieved a high income bracket, but I found these on sale somewhere for $20, and for that price they are great.

The Fiscars 7972, 15 inch anvil loppers are the toughest, most durable loppers I have ever used. They have survived cutting roots buried in gravel and other, similar abuses with no visible damage. Despite the compact 15 inch total length, these geared loppers have plenty of power for nipping dried hardwood limbs. Constructed of glass-filled nylon, the only metal on the 7972's is the cutting blade and two large pivot screws. I have destroyed all-metal loppers. These promise to outlast 5 conventional ones.

When I first came across these, I thought they looked neat, and maybe they might not function so bad. The look had additional marketing appeal for my landscaping company, something to set us aside from others. However, I wasn't really sure they'd suit a functional purpose, so I tentatively ordered the shovel to give it a trial run and to see if I could live with it. I purchased this spreader after yet another less expensive spreader had cracked and split. I love the pneumatic wheels as I have an extremely steep slope to my back yard and it rolls with so much more ease than the cheaper plastic wheels. It is also far superior in the quality of the spreading mechanism and did a significantly better job when I fertilized the lawn. The only negative comment would be that even for my very handy husband this was a little confusing to put together as the directions were mostly diagrams and not well written. I know that the extra dollars were worth it as this spreader will make it far more than one or two years like the old ones .. so in the end it's actually cheaper. Fast shipping too!!!

I was disapointed. The rake was rather heavy, and awkward. However, I could have lived with this, but the rake simply doesn't pick up enough leaves to make it worthwhile. When you "close" the rake, most of the leaves are forced out. I returned the rake. The good news is that the Amazon return process is really slick.

After two years of buying sprayers that didn't "cut the mustard" from the big box stores, I went online to find a "Spray Doc" that I had used for many years. It is now sold under the "Gilmour" name. The sprayer comes almost fully assembled. The pump works great and you can determine how much pressure you want to reach the distance you want. It is easy to fill and clean. Replacement parts are readily available when needed.
