I'd give it a 4 star if it costs 6 bucks, but with shipping it cost me over 10 bucks, still don't get why it costs this much, I put a prunner and a general purpose garden knife and a old leatherman in it and it's already stuffed, one neat feature it has is the plastic clip on it's back, which hook on to belts and pockets easily, well made though. Oh, if you are wondering, yes, things do fall out from it if you allow it to happen.

I'm not sure why the other reviewers have glowing things to say about this saw. The frame is rigid as mentioned. There is NO tensioning mechanism for the blade. The blade tangs are made of what looks like aluminum and are barely adequate to hold the blade in place. The blade itself cuts VERY poorly, so poorly I was wondering if I got a manufacturing defect. If you have a few extra hours to kill, then by all means use this saw to cut a branch or two! The whole point of a bow saw is portability and quick sawing action. This one fails utterly. I purchased this saw in June of 2008. It was manufactured in China.

I bought a different hand trimmer before this one, which was terrible. This one is sturdy and cuts well. I've had it for months now and the foam padding on the handles and the blades themselves have held up. Just what I was looking for in a trimmer.

So many garden tools are the same old design, well not this line from Katie Brown. The sleek silver handle is actually pretty comfortable for gardening and looks very nice. I havent had any wear issues yet (although I have only had it a few months). Overall I think that this is a beautiful line for any gardener to get. I expect that it should stand up well to the wear and tear of my flower beds for a couple seasons.

I don't know why, but these pruners are listed under two different descriptions but are clearly the same product. I have already reviewed them under the other description but I am happy to reiterate my support of them. This is a quality tool that can easily be re-sharpened and parts replaced. I have had mine for over ten years and am convinced that unless I lose them they will outlive me! If you are left-handed these are an essential gardening tool. I don't know of another manufacturer of left-handed pruners.

I have a shrub-pruning business, and rely on my Felco PowerGear loppers for cuts too big for my pruning clippers and too small for a saw. These are absolutely the best loppers I know of; they cut through live or dead wood as if they were cutting through butter. Their one drawback is that I can't take them apart to clean and sharpen them, and have to do so in one somewhat unwieldy piece, taking extra care with my sharpening stone. Because they hold an edge very well, though, and are such a great cutting tool, I'm willing to put up with the inconvenience.

The ergonomic design is wonderful, as the previous reviewer said. The problems I have had with it are: 1. No bagged fertilizer seems to give the "dial setting" for this model. I guess it is not popular enough. It has settings 1-5, and most other spreaders have at least 7 or 10. I usually just leave it on 5, but I honestly have no idea what spreading rate this allows. 2. It gets clogged easily. I wear gloves, so I just reach a hand in and break up the fertilizer clump that has blocked the opening, and then keep going. This depends on how clumpy your fertilizer is, some kinds are worse than others, especially if you are using from a bag that was opened last season. Not a huge deal for smaller lawn (mine is only 7000 sq. ft.) but it would really get to be a waste of time ... Read More
