A few years ago, I got my first house and the yard desperately needed to be taken care of. My old man was such a nitpick when it came to his yard and I never saw much point in that. That is, until I got my own yard. Edging was always one of those things I thought was worthless. Again, until I got my own yard. I happened to run into this while at Home Depot and it looked rather interesting. It was on sale, so I bought it and immediately jumped on my yard. Nice little hatchet but it comes in a large, molded plastic snap-in case with a big carry handle on top. It would look good on the garage wall but it's too bulky to carry in a backpack. Sending it back and will look at an Estwing hatchet from Home Depot instead.

cuts nicely, very good balance compares to newer fiskars design which use comp. handles, fits all my family's hands nicely, reasonable spring response, also able to gain a good grip at varies angles, which is not possible on their power gear line, good general purpose prunner.

I bought two packages these spray bottles (6 total) for making up green, home-made cleaners (see _Green Up Your Clean-Up_). Typical ingredients for these cleaners include water, borax, vinegar, essential oils, and baking soda. Somehow, these ingredients cause the spring mechanism in the handle to get sticky or even stuck. I'm going to have to replace them all after only about 5 months of use. I decided to give the spray bottles two stars (instead of one) because as water spray bottles, they work very well both for spritzing plants and for ironing. They have a very fine spray and don't leak.

These pruners are undoubtedly the best I have ever used. The ease of use is great. They will easily cut through 1/2" to 3/4" limbs. The rotating handle was a little hard to adjust to but now I would not own anything else. I have used them all, Fiskars, Craftsman and so on. I have never had anything to compare to these. Well worth the money.

Note the dimensions: 0.8 x 3 x 7.2 inches My hand is the the size of these shears. I'll use it because I have it but for repetitive work, I'll buy something else. Probably Felco.

When I first came across these, I thought they looked neat, and maybe they might not function so bad. The look had additional marketing appeal for my landscaping company, something to set us aside from others. However, I wasn't really sure they'd suit a functional purpose, so I tentatively ordered the shovel to give it a trial run and to see if I could live with it. I've since gone out and stocked up on all the NRG-PRO tools, their hand tools, and I'm looking forward to at least some of the NRG-STX series tools as well. All of the tools have a great balance.
