FOr the life of me I could not match the garage door with a new remote, as when I bought my condo they gave me large cumbersome remotes, this takes 2 seconds to set and operate. I would also recommend you buy them from ASPdoors, (look under my profile) as these are easily the best service, they put up with my 6 million questions, my returns, and then matched me the correct remote.

This remote is great! It is small, powerful and works EXACTLY as the original did. Mine will reverse the door and I don't feel the fit is flimsy. It hangs on your keys instead of from the visor, but other thatn that, a direct replacement.

The Genie Wireless Keypad was fairly simple to set up and install. Open it up and set your garage code based on your current garage door opener then install with 2 screws. The cover slides up and down and I think this is where this product fails. It worked really well for about a month. The up and down motion triggers a switch so you can enter your code. If you enter the code incorrectly you must close then reopen the cover. You also must make sure the red light comes on when you open. This is the problem we are now having. The red light doesn't come on because the cover isn't triggering the switch properly. We have to fiddle with it to get the light to come on so we can enter our code. I've owned one of these units for 10+ years (longer? 15?). It is excellent, simple, and secure. My old one finally stopped working after the painters blasted the keypad with high pressure water. I bought a new one, installed the keypad with my old electronic box and it works perfectly. I admire its solid, simple design. It is secure because the electronics and the code are both safely locked inside the garage. It is safe (and convenient) because after opening the door can be immediately reversed for the next minute or so by pressing any button -- in case it is closing on something or someone, or it was just a quick open/close to put away the bicycle. Strongly recommended.
