Worked as it is supposed to. Easy to install. It is a shame tho, now I have extra parts that have no function for anything else. Instead of simply an extension to the existing parts, you get a longer rail that has you tossing out one of the original rails. And, you get a new Longer chain/cable assembly instead of simply a chain extension and master link. Now I have a brand new rail piece and a brand new chain/cable assembly and nothing to use them on. In this day of trying to "Go Green", "Add-on" pieces would make much more sense providing lower cost to the consumer and no left-over parts that now head to a landfill.

The other reviewer is absolutely correct although they appear to have finally changed the picture after I ordered one of these a couple weeks ago. Don't buy this item as you get the cheaper "universal" item this seller lists also on Amazon anyway. They just charge you more since you "think" you are getting something specifically for a Stanley. The item you get works fine if you follow the directions for a Stanley opener, but I'd say this seller's ethics are a bit shady in their misleading description of this item. Especially when they know they are going to give you something different than you order that they sell cheaper in another listing. You do not receive a unit specific to a Stanley opener, and upon questioning them, they admit that Digi-code (who makes what they send ... Read More
