I've used all sorts of brands of faucets over the years in my homes and GROHE is definitely a premium brand. They don't make any cheap items. The action is really smooth. The water temperature adjustments are perfect. It is a smooth curve and transition from hot to cold or vise versa and is directly relational to the handle position. One note for installation is that the cartridge is not reversible, so make sure the hot and cold lines are hooked up correctly the first time. This of course is a minor thing. I would much rather have its silky smooth operation than the connivence of a reversible cartridge which really is a one time event anyhow that is easily remedied. I wanted a towel rack and the only spot I had near the sink was over the toilet. This rack worked out great. It was shipped quickly and was quite easy to put together, I did myself. My husband mounted it to the wall but I dont think it was hard, just a few anchors and screws. I put two baskets on the shelf but you could stack towels or anything you might want. This rack is very solid and looks good. I think it was a great deal especially when you see the prices of some of the "hotel style" racks. Hope this helps.

I don't write many reviews. However, this one is worthwhile. It is as far as I can tell the same design of shower head that is in the Holiday Inn Express. How can a shower head be worth all that advertising for a hotel? Well, this one is! Whether you have low or high water pressure, this thing will work. It replaced a Delta head that was twice the price. My only complaint is that the rim is very wide, but the plus is that this makes the head rotate/adjust very easily with almost no effort (yet it stays in place where you aim it).

Unreal, I've tried many showerheads and none has been good. This one, the cheapest one did it!

With others giving glowing reviews I thought I would take the plunge. It was a big mistake. Connection to pipe always leaks no matter what. The problem: the rubber washer inside the connection to the pipe is poorly designed and cannot handle the back pressure this showerhead creates. Keep in mind the lower the flow rating the head, the more pressure it exerts on the connection/joint to the pipe. Based on my educated guess, their rubber washer is: 1) too large by 0.5 mm or less. You can see the washer bulging inside the head before the installation which is never a good news. 2) too hard/brittle. The washer is very hard. Either way, the design makes it useless for me.
