This tool does not feel good in your hand. I don't like it... It feels cheap. My friend bought the Gerber tool. We traded and both agreed the Gerber Freehand feels and looks better.

I was looking for a corded oscillating tool and looked at the Fein Multitasker and blades, but it is just way too expensive to purchase for my needs. So I bought the Dremel and the Rockwell to compare side by side... The $100 Dremel is lighter and a bit smaller but the buzz the motor makes compared to the Rockwell motor [a little bit heavier and slightly bigger] which humms smoothly is like comparing a Vespa scooter to a Victory street bike. We've had two of these (one upstairs and one downstairs) for 2+ years. They work great. They are easy to set up. Some complain about the beeping at start... it stops after a 30 second start up diognostic. (Read the manual). The upstairs unit is hung on the wall between bedrooms. The downstairs unit moves back and forth between the hot water heater (condo unit) or the ventless NG fireplace. I can check for peak levels of CO, which is at most 10ppm... and that's only when gas appliances start up... which is normal. When I place the unit in the center of our downstairs, away from the NG units, no CO levels ever register. It's nice to have the peace of mind the units afford us. First of all, I don't like chainsaws. So, I was excited to learn of this product. It works as advertised and makes me feel much safer during its use. I would recommend this product for those who want to get work done that until now has been strictly the domain of the chainsaw.

I just received this rugged headlamp and it works as it is supposed. Nothing to complain. I tried to put it under water tap. It continued working. After half minute, I found water went into the battery box. Just wondering how it is called water-proof. If rain was big enough, the batteries could drain at a very fast rate. this is just my first headlamp, and continue to find some really waterproof stuff.

This is very handy to have in the garden since it fits in your pocket and you can carry pruning shears without the danger of stabbing yourself, but the shears themselves are passable at best. I like being able to open a bag of soil, loosen some roots of a plant I am transplanting or do a quick trim without carrying lots of tools with me, but if you are doing heavy duty pruning or weeding, you are going to want to use a different tool. It gets a 5 stars for concept, but only 3 in execution.

This is by far the most popular multi-tool on the market and should last for many years of use. It may be a bit tight when you first purchase it, but a little gun oil will loosen it up. Some have commented about the quality of the new Wave to be less than the original, but I would say that this is still a very well made tool. I like Gerber as well, but prefer the more solid feel of Leatherman tools. The one handed, quick access to the main blades is one of the best features of this tool. The metal is ribbed on the serrated blades release point to differentiate it from the straight blade. I do not use the included nylon sheath, but it seems of decent quality.

This is a beautiful, useful, precision tool. I am an avid ocean boater, and I would never go to sea without my Leatherman. This particular model has possibly the most useful combination of blades and tools, including a ratcheted blade, which is invaluable for cutting seaweed kelp or tangled lines. If you use the Leatherman in a salt-water environment, it is important to knock all of the salt off with a fresh-water (and soap) rinse. If you do this you will get years of service from your Leatherman. If you do not do this, you still will, but the blades will tighten up and become hard to unfold until you work them loose. Keep it clean. This is a very nice tool and it makes a great gift.

I bought this to make more space in the shed that we use for storage of the family's four bikes. It works, but it is not easy for the average 5th grader to use. Application: Lift a 28 pound bike high enough to put another similar road bike underneath it. Make this easy enough that a 5th grader can do it. Result: 5th grader can accomplish this, but it is difficult enough that both she and her mother complain about it. Thus, the 3 stars. This unit makes the job possible, but not easy. Issues: 1. The rope in this version has been changed from a "cheap, cotton rope" as quoted from another review to a sturdy synthetic rope that doesn't seem to fray, but is hard for some of my family to grip onto.
