I purchased this a few weeks ago (from Amazon) with the wide jaws because of the recommendations here. I agree buy the jaw set, in fact I think they should just be sold as one unit. I am very pleased and did not have any problems using the tool. It sure beats using a board and clamps. The distance from the edge of my saw's baseplate to the blade is not a nice even number. I made a little story stick (which I tend to misplace between projects) for this as I never remember the setting and would have to re-measure. I know there are many ways to do this but I like to do as few adjustments and measurements as possible. These bits are OK for hard woods, but for anything softer (pine, fir, poplar, etc) they tend to screw into the wood rather than boring a hole. The "pilot point" appears to be the major drawback of these bits, IMHO, not the major benefit.

Best light in the world but don't shine it in anyone's direction, especially if they are driving a car. Makes for a blinded driver careening all over the road. Not funny at all.

For a small, light multi-tool, this Leatherman has been my favorite. Unlike the Gerber it replaced, all the tools come out without difficulty. The quality is nice and it's small/light enough to not be noticed in the pocket. That's why various airports have a collection of my old tools.

I bought this nailer on the strengths of all the 5 stars awarded by other reviewers. So with great anticipation, I waited for it to arrive. Then I was deeply disappointed when even with pressure set to the maximum 120PSI and depth adjustment turned all the way for maximum penetration, the heads of the brad remained above the wood. I shot over 50 brads with this consistent problem. I read others have modified the safety by filing it down, but why should I do this irreversibly to a new tool that is reputed to be so perfect? If I did this, wouldn't it make the no-mar pads not fit snugly on the bulbouse shaped safety tip? I wonder if there is another way to adjust the safety protrusion without filing it down (depth adjuster doesn't do it). This screw-driver set is of high quality. A fine selection of drivers, with rubber covering on the handles to prevent electrical shocks, a good safety measure. The blade tips have magnets, to help retain screws until they are started into their holes. I would recommend the Denali brand of screw-drivers to anyone. They will be my choice the next time I need any.

My DeWalt drill was dead for a long time and I was limping the batteries along with no results. It is too bad that DeWalt charges so much for new ones. Nonetheless, these XRP batteries have tons more power than the stock ones and seem to last much longer. I was able to get them at a much better price on amazon.com as well.
