love the lock - no more keys for our household. The only problem we have that it sometimes does not recognize our fingerprints immediately; but that could be due to many different reasons. It's cold outside and the print has changed slightly or the finger is not placed correctly on the light. Our family had all our fingers scanned, so if one finger doesn't work there many more to go.... But 9 out of 10 times we have no problem. When you first start scanning your fingers, you can do all of them at one time (just wait for the green light to recognize each print). The instructions do not tell you that and we first put the code in for each finger separate. I actually owned 2 of the infrared version of this deadbolt lock and I owned it for more than 4 years now. The quality of the product is good and very easy to use, but the customer service is just wonderful! Last night I had a problem with one of my lock after 4 years of daily use, so I contacted Morning Industry to see if their 25 years warranty is any good. Long story short, I talked to Mathew and went down to their office. Within 10 minutes, I was out with a brand new back section of the lock and I did not even have to show my receipt to them.

Great product! My local hardware store replace a broken original lock from 23 years ago, a Kwikset, rekeyed it and it never quite worked correctly. The key wouldn't quite work. Gambled since this is a KW1 key and I was impressed!! Extremely heavy duty compared to the $28.00 hardware store variety and I really did like the Smartkey feature. Reprogrammed the original key to my house key and they all work flawlessly!! Had one issue, one of two screws were difficult getting in. Had to have my wife on the other side while I really turned it in. I suspect I cross-threaded it, but with this lock it'll be 30 years before I take it off again, if I'm still around!! The Egg and Dart solid natural brass backplates were a beautiful addition to my front entrance door. In fact, they absolutely create fantastic curb appeal. My door is an older door that I have painted several times but when I added the 8" brass backplates, the door looked straight out of a magazine. The Egg & Dart design on the backplates looks very authetic and the brass is thick and will last as long as the door will. I am very pleased with the product. The price was excellent as well as the quick shipping--a very pleasant online transaction.

I bought these knobs for my new house, they can be a little tricky to install...but overall they are great. Very sleek and nice looking, even if paint is dripped on them, it comes off super easy. Only downfall is it's hard to find them, so when you find them, snatch them up!
