Drinking water faucet is made of chromed plastic. The plastic button on the handle falls out and can be easily lost. The rate of water flow is frustratingly slow. To fill a 12 cup coffee reservoir takes several minutes. This flow rate is begining to degrade as time passes (30 days) since installation. The installation was not too bad, but I had to purchase a new flexible faucet supply line because the adapter for the filtration system shortens the path between the water supply valve and the cold water stub on the sink faucet. Also, a watch style battery comes with each filter cartridge, but they do not tell you how/where to install it. It goes in the plastic faucet handle, but the polarity is a crap shoot. This unit worked okay for a couple of months, then the diverter valve malfunctioned. They shipped me a new one, but that one was defective too. I'm on my third diverter valve, and frankly I'm tired of having to change this part. The description of this item does not let you know that you will constantly have to be replacing a key part or the thing won't work. So, in addition to replacing the filter, you'll also have to contact their customer support to have them repeatedly send you a new part. You will have to install this part also, taking up your time. If the filter ever malfunctions, be prepared to open the filter yourself and troubleshoot it with their customer service people, and you're lucky if you can open the damn thing. The Sharp R530EW microwave oven was purchased as a replacement for a 11 year old Sharp oven I purchased and installed in a cabinet with a Sharp built-in kit. Primary factors in the selection were performance of the old oven. The new oven is even better! Cost. I could purchase the new oven at less cost than replacing the thermotron tube in the old oven. Dimensions of the new oven. I could install the new oven in the same spot. The new oven is more attractive and its performance has exceeded by expectations.

I purchased this MXRC filter to replace the FXRC Culligan filter that came with my GE refrigerator that I bought back in 1999. I just wanted to say that it works fine as there is some confusion as to whether the MXRC filter is a replacement for the FXRC Culligan filter - it is.

I am so happy I found this fat-trapper! What a handy little item. The trapper holds so much and the refills are pretty cheap. It actually looks nice on top of my stove (I got the black version) and it is sturdy enough to pour into without holding. I recommend this item.

The replacement filters are fine. They a little flimsier than the orignal filters I had but seem to do the job. The mailing of the filters took a little longer than I expected but did arrive within 10 business days. At over $12, the shipping and handling was more that the cost of a filter. All that being said, this is one of the few places that actually stocks the filters and they provide good service and excellent updates as to the status of the order.
