This is a great product for tilling between plants and other areas where I can't use my larger mechanical tiller. It pushes into the soil easily and twists back and forth with light to moderate effort. The bar just above the tines is very useful for helping to push them into the ground by stepping on it. I have used the tiller for a few hours in a day and although there is some work involved my arms didn't end up sore nor did I get especially tired from it. I am very satisfied with this tool.

I'll have to say it's nothing like the pictures they show you, you shove it from the side of the edge really hard, with step facing upwards and cuts into the soil, the you erect it and while at it give the step a few good kicks which is now away from you instead of in front of you like the pictures shown, stomp on it to make sure it cuts into the soil which you shovel upon, stomp on it again to make sure soil being erected will move up along the edger, and give it a final stomp when the edger is being fully erected to make sure everything stays in place, so that's 3 hard stomps for every few inchs on lawn edge, all withe the step facing away from you. I like the design, weight and inherent stability of this product. My one MAJOR complaint is that it comes fine threaded and my standard rainbird impulse head would not screw in until I bought a 14 pitch tap (another $11) to make suitable threads to screw into. I have no idea why it would not have the same thread pitch as a very common impulse head. Otherwise it is a superior design that will never tip over and will last a lifetime.
