I bought this unit to spray the walls and ceiling of a new garage I built, about 1000 square feet. I had no problem setting it up and it sprayed great. A nice pattern with the supplied 413 tip while spraying latex. A little overspray so use dropcloths. The tip clogged once but I turned it around and cleared it quickly. I sprayed 7 gallons of latex in 2 hours and completed the job saving me at least 15 hours using a roller and brush. A real time saver and the results were very nice. I am soooo glad I bought this unit. The cleanup took about 35 minutes. Let the pump push as much paint out of the bin using the ciculation tube pointed back into the paint bucket. Bought this to prep 20 year old cedar siding for repainting. It had not been painted for at least 7 years. The PaintEater made quick work of what could have been quite a scraping project. I did go thru 2 discs in the process. But for the square footage I covered, that was not excessive. Use the disc's edge when the disc is new (and thickest) to scrape the lower edges of the siding. It is noisy and produces a lot of dust. It does take some practice to get the best feathered edges. If the unit begins to wobble as you strip/sand, resist the temptation to press harder. Instead, ease off the wall surface and then press down. That seems to regain control faster.

I had started taking down a room of wallpaper only to find out it was not going to come down. It took me over an hour to get small strips off using my hands and a blade. I found the steamer on line and it came within two days. It took me two days and all the wallpaper was off and the room was ready for paint. It pealed off like butter at times. I plan to use it in another room next and know it will do a great job. Well worth the price, plus it stores away very nicely.

I bought this in case I needed a second disc while doing a lot if sanding while remodelling a room. Turns out the original was up to the task and I didn't need the extra. I will be using it eventually, I'm sure. Only drawback to this type of disk is that it tends to clog and it is necessary to run it over some cement to clean it out.

I first purchased this product at Lowes because of a picture I saw in a magazine...I waited months before I actually used it. I was afraid I could not do it. But when I finally decided to try it, in a matter of a couple of swipes of the roller, it was magic, I could see it was going to be beautiful. I have used it through- out the house combining different colors. I don't think I will ever go back to a plain, one color wall. Try it you won't be disappointed.

This little machine really paints the project in a hurry. If you are looking to paint a large area, then the Paint Crew Sprayer is a Must Have item. I painted an eight by sixteen shed inside and out in a couple of hours. And, the coverage was terrific. An older building, raw lumber, and the high pressure sprayer did the job it would have taken days to complete with a brush, in a few hours, including cleanup. Because it is reconditioned, I paid the extra few dollars for the replacement warranty.

Was disappointed in that the Heat Gun did not put out more heat and the fan did not blow more are, but over all it I was able to do the project I bought it for. Would search for a more poweful one the next time.

I had a problem with leaking paint from the paint input. I decided to use two layers of plastic (from a bag) to seal the input. Simply unscrew the piece, put the plastic over the input, and screw the piece back down. No more leaks! I love this thing - it saves me paint and I can clean it fairly quickly now.

It works fairly well. The paint tray doesn't hold very much paint but other than that, it's on ok product. Would be better if it came with roller covers.
