I bought this blower after much research. It was well worth it. This blower is straightforward and simple right out of the box. In 5 minutes I was out blowing lawn clippings. It is much quieter than my neighbors gas model and I don't stink like a mix of gas and oil when I'm done. Just make sure you use a heavy gauge extension cable to make the most out of it. I use a 14 gauge 100ft one. The throttle control is great considering it is a knob you turn to dial in just the right amount of air you need. At the highest setting there is some pull but nothing like any other I have used. Solid feel and Toro reliability. Light enough for wife to use on the patio. I use the Toro spring bucket when we go camping. It collapses for easy storage in our tent trailer. I've purchased 6 of these because everyone who sees this thing in our campsite wants one. At this price, and the quality of the item, it just can't be beat. The large size is a big plus. Don't know why anyone would want or need a shoulder strap with this item, it's just to big, with the four handles who would need a strap?

Very good product. Does all I expected. One improvement might be a better way to secure the plug-in connection. I am very pleased with the blower and my shopping experience with Amazon.

The Toro cordless trimmer has plenty of power--even after 45 minutes of use. I also own the Black & Decker 18 volt cordless trimmer with 2 removable batteries. The Black and Decker loses its power in less than 20 minutes--sometimes 15. I store the Toro unplugged, and it holds its charge for over 6 weeks. Try that with the Black & Decker 18 volt cordless trimmer. The Black and Decker loses most of its power in less than 2 weeks. The Toro doesn't always win over the Black & Decker, however. The B&D is superior for trimming grass along a sidewalk. It's also more ergonomic and weighs much less. This is a great idea, but.... The bag part won't stay attached to the garbage can no matter how hard i tighten the cord (which probably should be thicker). And when i finally got the bag to stay attached for a little while, then the hose blew out of the middle of the canvas bag that is attached to the garbage can. So all in all i like the idea but i'm going to return it to Amazon after calling Toro to ask if they have any fixes for the two problems.

It is a Giant Blower for the Little Price. 1st get you 2-100 feet of 12 ga. extension cord. You could get by with 14 or 16 ga, but I like the bigger ga.It will last a lot longer (No melt down).The Blower does not have a 3 prong ground plug. It has a 2 prong conection. Simple to put together & keep the air intake clean. Plenty of air blowing (160 mph). A week after I got it, It was at Lowes for $33,95 + tax. With No tax & free shipping, & I live 30 miles from Lowes,I think I still came out better with gas what it is.

The two-speed blower works very well - the leaf vacuum doesn't have the same power. All things being equal, this yard tool works as described and has been reliable - the shoulder strap, however, is awkward and very uncomfortable despite being adjustable.
