My bad knees make it very difficult for me to get up and down in the yard/garden and the kneeler has made it so much easier for me to stand up after kneeling. I wish the rubber cushion was slightly softer. I plan to get a strip of foam to place over the attached cushion.

This product is a great example of getting what you pay for; basically, for the price, this isn't a bad little greenhouse kit. Like others who left reviews, I had some trouble getting the bars to stay in place. I recommend using a pair of pliers to shape the ends of the bars during assembly. Adding a slight oval shape to the bars helped them to stay in place. Some of the bars need to be rounded better so they go into place without breaking the plastic connectors. The clear cover on mine arrived with a five inch split in it. This was easily repaired with duct tape. The cover does not extend all the way to the base of the greenhouse; it leaves about an eight inch gap (which might be considered "ventilation." They don't last too long and the label print fades quickly. In addition, squirrel likes to chew on them and move them around......

I gave this as a gift to my daughter who is going to college and it was an instant hit. She clipped all the plants in my house, transplanted a few with the trowels, then stored all the tools back in the molded case to travel to school. There she is growing a variety of seedlings and caring for her roommates plants. I choose the molded case version over the tote bag because I thought that with all the moves she will face in the next few years the case would keep everything together. The clippers are sharp and the tools sturdy enough for an amateur indoor gardener. I combined this gift with a house plant book and it was a success. The trowels would not be sturdy enough to use in hard outdoor soil but that is not the intented use of this product.

You would pay at least $10 each for tools of this quality in any hardware store. Nice solid wooden grips, well built - I have been hacking away around a treestump stuck in solid clay, and these tools do not bend or buckle. The more mundane potting and gentle weeding, for which these were designed, should be a breeze...

I love the weight and heft of this trowel. I love the metal and the rounded tip. I love the way the handle fits in my hand. The Rumford Gardener Pro Trowel is perfect for digging, transplanting, and weeding. For weeding, I hold the trowel in my right hand, make an insertion behind the weed and pull it out with my left hand. On to the next. I don't spray poisons into the soil, I don't pull the weed and leave roots--I dig it out and it is gone!! Perhaps a more pointed blade would work better, but this unit and I work as a team now and we are happy!

This set of tools is of excellent quality. I actually ordered it for the apron, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the tools! The tools are heavy duty, and polished to a sheen. The handles fit your hand perfectly. (Note: The apron turned out to be way too big for me. Although it is adjustable, it would not go down to my size - 28" waist. But my handiman husband fixed it so it would fit)
