I bought this battery pack because I wasn't completely sure the problem was with the battery and I didn't want to spent $60 bucks for a complete new battery to find out. It was a little tricky to get the old battery apart because it was glued together so I made sure I could do that before I ordered the insert by filing down an old screwdriver to fit the trianglar screws. I am very satisfied with the performance of the batterypack. After charging it worked perfectly.

This battery checker does not perform as advertised. The problem is that there are supposed to be 18 gradients of battery life, with 1-5 for POOR, 6-10 for FAIR and 11-18 for GOOD.
