Living in the boonies, I like to have a lot of light bulbs on hand. When we bought a new ceiling light fixture for our kitchen we tried a number of bulbs in it. Our light fixture hangs to a little more than 6' above the floor and has two "cans" 1' apart for the two light bulbs. The cans are nearly cone-shaped. They are a matte white inside. The fixture calls for two 50-watt R20 bulbs. Bulbs that are length 20 are just right. 30 length bulbs hang down too low below the cans. This light bulb worked better than P20 because it has a relatively flat lens, and has a very narrow glass edge that lets out the right amount of light below the "can". The matte white finish inside the cones does not reflect well. The texture on the inside of the lens diffuses the light very nicely and minimizes ... Read More
