After two weeks of hunting the internet for reviews, finally decided on this Sunlawn. Shipped fast, and free. Pulled the machine out of the box, screwed together the sturdy handles, set it for 2 inches, and went at a nasty, wet, lumpy, scruffy, overgrown corner of the yard that had been uncut since the gas mower died. This baby chewed through the mess like a backseat full of ChubChubbs. Scratchy old stems? Gone. Thick, soppy grass? Pfft -- like a bayonet through a birthday cake. Instead of leaving wads of wet grass to rake up, the Sunlawn neatly scattered tiny chopped mulch over the surface. Trimmer arrived promptly and in good condition. The trimmer is good for light maintenance trimming of grass. The light weight of the trimmer makes it good for reaching into tight spots. It is not so good for initial clearing of an area over grown with tough weeds. It is a good supplement for a gas trimmer for lighter work but not a replacement for clearing badly over grown spots.

Pros: lightweight and easy to push. This isn't your grandfather's push mower. No gas needed! very quiet!! :-) low purchase price. easy to put together. Cons: Any stick or twig will stop the blades. You MUST rake up or pick up all sticks before use. wheel adjustments can slip if you don't carefully tighten the orange adjustment knobs Overall: I'd buy it again. It's a great mower, totally eco friendly, and very quiet. But I have a small yard (just over a quarter acre), so the quirks aren't too bad for me.
