While the wheelbarrow may be a winner, the packaging was NOT. I ordered two of these for Christmas presents for two grandchildren. They were shipped without any packaging around them at all. Not even shrink-wrap. The delivery man all but handed the gift to the child at the door. Come on, Seymore Mfg. It's Christmas. Wrap those gifts in something! Mary

The Seymour 18" Machete is a necessity for anyone clearing serious foilage. I am clearing about 1/2 acre of small trees, tall grasses, & creepy-crawly vines that encroached on the edges of my property. I was using a 2 cyl. gas-powered trimmer w/ an 8" metal blade, a 21-inch Bow saw, & a serrated shears, but I started making much faster progress when my Seymour Machete arrived from Amazon.com. Only the machete lets you use the weight of your whole body in chopping & hacking, thus sparring the wrist & hand muscles so you don't tire out as fast. Well made and likely very durable. The angle of the snath relative to the blade makes it more of a "pull" motion than the swinging arc motion that I would like. This works well for clearing my ditch banks and under trees with the 20" blade but I would not find it easy to use for grass hay, even with the 26" blade which I also have. The european style is much superior for this finer work.

This is an excellent all around brush an nusinance wood tool. It will chop, dig out roots,and effectively trim small to large woody plants with ease and speed. It sharpens easily and remains so for extended periods of hard use. Every home owner deserves to have one in his tool invetory.

Happy with purchase. A little rough on the final finish. Will want to sand these a little or wear gloves. In all fairness these are as good or better than most of the wood replacement handles I see in the stores.
