Water that's been filtered by PUR is noticeably tastier than water from other filters. I had been using Brita for years but when the dispenser broke, I researched water filters on Amazon and was pleased to see that PUR offered a superior filter. I have been using PUR for over a year now and am very pleased at the result. I will not stinge on the quality to save a few bucks. Water is too important a component of my diet and good health to mess with.

Pur filters are one of the best filters for removing a high number of contaminants plus they are easy to install. The water tastes so much better when it is filtered; it's easy to drink lots of water every day.

I purchased two of these dispensers in January 2008. One I keep in my refrigerator, the other on the counter top. I purchased four four-packs of filters with the units, and I still have two of those left, after almost a year of daily use. I absolutely love these dispensers and have had absolutely no problem with leakage or anything else. The dispenser is very easy to carry with insert-handles on either side that are easily gripped. When the dispenser is almost empty I take it to the sink, fill it up and then wait for the water to filter down a little bit before returning it to the area where I keep it. The PUR FM-3700 3 Stage Vertical Faucet Mount water filter with refills will keep you refilling your water bottles. Stock up each time the Bottled water is on sale. Clean, and sanitize your used water bottles and refill them and drink the refilled bottles of water, so your stock of New water isn't depleted. The FEMA Disaster Preparedness Website give full instructions on how to sanitize your used plastic water/Juice bottles for re-use as a storage medium. PUR will give you the filtered Water. Beside, it's the GREEN thing to do.

Went through several of these before I learned my lesson. The casing after 3 to 4 months crack and water begins squirting all over the place. Though the filtrated water was good I just can't afford to continually replace units every 3 months.

Great value for this pitcher of Pur filter system. It does taste good. Pur vs. Brita. Both are good in my opinion. I just happen to like the cobalt blue color of this pitcher.

PUR FM-5050C 3 Stage Horizontal Faucet Mount with Flavored Cartridge I bought this unit back in June and I love how it taste, I have the strawberry,peach, and raspberry, which I not only use for flavored water but I also use them to add flavor to my white and green hot tea. It looks great and was easy to install and the filters are a snap too although either I use more water then I think or I don't get 100 gallons per filter as I am on my 3rd one. I only gave it 4 stars because of the reports about leaking. Mine so far has not leaked at all and I would recommend to any one wanting to drink healthier.
