This product (with the help of a homemade power carpet stretcher) allowed me to restretch 5 rooms of carpet in my home. The padding is not as nice as you'd find on commercial kickers, but you can't beat the price if this tool will be used infrequently. The kicker grabs the carpet extremely well. This allows you to set it very close to your trim, which helps the carpet attach to the tack strip properly.

This isn't B&D, Skil, Craftsman, Ryobi, etc. quality. If you're expecting that, you'll be disappointed. If I knew what I know after buying this, I'd spend the extra $10-$15 and buy one of those. ;-)) I bought one and it works for what I want it to; occasional hole making. I wish it was variable speed and was expecting it to be as 'everything' is nowadays. Nope. Two speeds; on and off. ;-)

Recently purchased this HDC dovetail jig and have been quite suprised. It actually is very easy to use and seems extremely well made. Good value for price. Only problem I've encountered is it only does half blind dovetails. Does anyone know if it can use other templates?

Good thing I was able to use a $20 gift certificate on this purchase, as it's cheaply made like so many things that used to be well built. The frame is flimsy as are the bins, but it should hold up OK as long as it's not loaded with too many heavy items. It's light duty, but serves my purpose...I would have paid more for something of higher quality.

the price is right and they seem to work ok. The case is heavy duty but not made to good but for the price a great deal.
