It was only an $8.00 item and I may have screwed up by assumeing that it fit the sprayer it was advertised next to,its return would not offset postage. So I guess i'll cut it in two and see if some hose and clamps will transform it into somthing useful! Never again.

After 2 weeks, it leaks near each end. It is poorly contructed. But, since it is a soaker hose that I buried, I use it anyways. A little extra water on the plants near the faucet should not hurt.

very time consuming to set the timer for the different watering functions.rain- bird made the easiest timer to set and Gilmour could take a lesson from them for their hose bibb timer.

I've used this sprayer and it works as advertised. Much easier to clean and maintain then the cheap plastic top sprayers. The sprayer use the material at a very consistent rate, which indicates to me that it's working correctly.

I own 3 of the regular Flexogen 8 ply aqua colored hoses and they still work fine after 19 years use, but they have a mildew issue (granted I can easily wipe it off w/ bleach but I'd prefer if I didn't have to do this). I bought this hose to see since it is the latest and greatest version if it would be more mildew resistant. I have not had it long enough to yet determine. I also like the connecting ends better since it reduces stress and hopefully will prevent leaking at the faucet end. This is a solid reputation company that stands behind its product (my neighbor sent one back for a quick replacement). It is so true that once you buy this wonderful kink free hose that you will never have to buy another, except of course those in my situation that desire to try the latest model!

After two years of buying sprayers that didn't "cut the mustard" from the big box stores, I went online to find a "Spray Doc" that I had used for many years. It is now sold under the "Gilmour" name. The sprayer comes almost fully assembled. The pump works great and you can determine how much pressure you want to reach the distance you want. It is easy to fill and clean. Replacement parts are readily available when needed.

These parts are better quality than the originals. They must have learned something along the way.
