This could easily be the BEST sprinkler made EXCEPT that it breaks easily! I was pounding the pavement trying to find one here in Austin to replace mine. I really appreciated how adaptable it is. But I see that others have shared my experience that it breaks too easily; mine after only 2 weeks of use! And I don't have children and was pretty easy on it. It is a shame that the plastic is so brittle and snaps so easily. Looking forward to an improved model... the manufacturers/designers would have a real winner here if they tweaked this sprinkler.

I bought my first one of these because I loved the squeeze trigger and I figured yeah it cost allot more but I get a lifetime warranty. Stupid thought No 1.) With a lifetime warranty it will last a minimum of 5 years right. If it doesn't I bring it back to HD right. It lasted 9 months(4 months of use) before the trigger started to leak which is great if you want to water your shoes. I take it back to HD... - sorry sir you need to mail it back to the Gardena with the original receipt. I don't have the receipt... sorry sir I wish I could help you - can I register the product online so I don' need the receipt....no you can't sir. Stupid though No. 2) I'll take it apart and fix it. I went through several types of watering wands until I finally spent the money to purchase a Gardena. This was over 6 years ago and it's still doing the same gentle watering as ever. Last year I had to replace the small spring that goes into the handle lever but that is all. This sprayer is exactly the right length and weight and, like all Gardena products, it's comfortable to hold and use. The wand does, indeed, adjust the spray at the nozzle which also does screw off so you can clean the sprinkler seive of any debris. A great feature. When they say ''soft spray'' they mean it. The spray is so gentle it never knocks over my flowers or even little baby seedlings when adjusted to it's finest spray. After 6 years I certainly got my money's worth, but still working ...
