Cheap plastic, doesn't hold adjustments, clunky and awkward. I bought it initially for the broad, flat surface, thinking this ideal for wall and floor scribing, and because the brass parts made it appear to be better than it is. I found it almost unusable, tried to get used to it for a while and finally tossed it. 2 stars for minimum usability. I recommend the tried and true compass or dividers. If you want a high-quality set, try West Marine - they have quite a variety for charting purposes. Stay away from the cheap stamped steel school models, and don't buy a set without a lock. A very good set is the C.S. Osborne model carried by Woodcraft. It is heavy-duty and has a nice fine adjust mechanism. Pricey at about $65-$70, but will last a lifetime.

I received these "feet", installed them and put them to work in an outside environment immediately. They spread the load more evenly than the small feet, and they work well where scuffing of the surface is not a problem.

In my shop I use a lot of Titebond yellow glue, which I buy in gallon bottles. The 16 ounce Glu-Bot Glue Bottle is an all-position dispenser; there is no necessity to tilt or invert the tip. Because the glue is discharged from the smaller diameter parallel cylinder, it will not dry out in the dispenser (even when you forget to replace the red cap) because of its smaller exposed surface area. I own this tape and it has proven useful. I dislike the belt clip, it's almost unusable. Most times it goes in my pouch so it's not a major gripe but when I do want to hook it on my pants or belt it becomes a nuisance. I like the area to write dimensions. Overall It's good but not great. Sometimes when grabbing the hook to pull out the tape my finger slips off, I think the hook should be a tad larger.

it`s really handy ,and that writing pad is really cool ,now i can write my measurements down and have it ready when i need it .But tape is 1/16 off ,which sometimes makes differences .On the other hand I`ve checked rest of the measuring tapes on the market for accuracy and discovered that almost all of them are 1/16 or more off,basically considering all of that ,i`ll recommend this product.

The Glu-Bot is fantastic, but I don't think extra caps are necessary unless you lose yours...even then I bought some red rubber roll on caps from Lee Valley I use in conjunction with the cap that came with the Glu-Bot. I have had no problems with that combo...my tip is always ready to go!

I bought this as an afterthought sort of thing while making multiple Amazon purchases. The reviews were good and the price good as well. I didn't have anything in mind for it, but within a week, I was making some small display cases (10" X 10") using melamine covered flooring. I was trying to put strips of brass on the outside edge and nothing could get it to stick. Gorilla Glue, urethane glues, some new melamine glue - all claimed to bond metal to wood, but didn't work. So, I grabbed the 2P-10 and gave it a try. And it worked! Very, very well. I see this as an important addition to my shop. Fast, gap filling, cleans off fairly easily. And really sticks.
