I'm a N.Y.S. building inspecter and live with a flashlight in my hand, so I'm always looking for that perfect one.... I saw the Duracell Daylite advertized in Popular Science Mag., and thought I'd give it a try...and I wasn't disapointed. I own several 3Watt high intenity LED lights and the Daylite holds it's own with all of them, and the price is right. The light is VERY bright, and knowing it's made by Duracell I know it's dependable. Some of my fellow inspectors carry the old fashion Maglite, "C" battery type.....then they feel stupid when my little Daylite out shines their 5lb. Maglite.... haha

Bought all three models. It is a compact and very bright led flashlight. Comparing all three, the cr123 model isn't worth the price. It is no brighter nor does it reach any more distance than the 3AAA model. They all fit in your pocket. I work in public safety and it will serve my needs just fine.

Power adaptors for 65w notebooks can need more than 150w when the notebook need a lot of energy, e.g. with 100% of processor(s) use. But this device can offer 135w of constant energy. 175w is just the peak power and really not true. Do not use with batteries that offer low current levels. As a 12v to 110v transformer, it will need 9 times more current in the 12v input than the device need. Besides that it is really portable and will power netbooks finely.

This is a sleek compact aluminum flashlight that feels durable, is lightweight and comfortable to hold. It is small and light enough to hold with your fingers. You can rotate the end to adjust the beam focus. This 2cr123 is the most expensive version of the 3 durcell daylites, and will cost you about $40, the other two AA & AAA versions will run you about $30. So the batteries will be more expensive to replace in this one. However this is the more powerful version featuring 4 watts and 160 lumens versus the 3 watts 80 lumens of the other two. Here's what I've found in the 36 hours I've owned this device. It has a decently long and appropriately thick power cable. It required a very firm push to get it in the lighter socket of my 2004 Honda Accord but that also means it won't be popping out on its own. There is an on-off switch that turns blue when pressed. My iPhone 3G does NOT work when just using the USB port of the inverter. Instead, I need to use the USB to A/C adapter that comes with the iPhone and plug that into the inverter, which works just fine. The inverter makes a very slight noise due, I assume, to a small cooling fan inside. I use this to charge my BlackBerry on the go if I don't have any other options available to me -- it works very well, and you can store batteries in the device without worrying about killing them - just leave the cables unplugged. I wasn't excited about having both the mini and micro USB cables, but now that more devices are standardizing on the micro USB, I'm glad that I have it!

This is a handy unit since it can charge both small usb devices and provides AC power for laptops or other electronics of similar wattage. I can probably get 45-60 additional minutes out of this with my laptop. I usually keep one in the car to use as an inverter. It seems to work out pretty well. The only concern I have is sometimes my car is left in extreme heat and so I wonder how adversely affected the battery is on this unit.

This is a great product produces enough energy to power tools and small appliances. I love the fact that it only requires one set of wires that are included, You cant beat that. Only improvement needed are one or two more outlets.
