The housing may work on flatter blades but it binds on the curves in my mulching blade (from a Black and Decker electric mower). However, the stone worked fine freehand.

By now everyone should konw about the Dremel and what it can do. Im very happy I found one for such a great price. I would not however recommend the purchase of an extra set of attachments until you konw what you want to do with your Dremel. Most of the extra attachments I purchased already came with the standard Dremel.

Remember this is a BUFFING wheel - it does that job well. I needed to touch up the blade of a tool box jack knife; this is not the tool for that task; I switched to an emory embedded rubber wheel. The EZ Lock mandrel is perfect for this tool.

Simply put: This mandrel permits very quick changing of attachments (typically cutting disks). One note of caution: cutting disks are easy to change, but when changing them, be careful of the temperature of both disks and the mandrel itself!

No, you won't be doing any fine woodworking with this Dremel XPR attachment. But for twenty bucks, it makes awfully quick work of planing the bottom of a door so that it closes. I recently did a bathroom tile project, and needed to take just a tiny bit off a section of a door. The planer attachment certainly did the job. It does make a lot of dust/mess, and the guide is far from perfect in keeping you at 90 degrees to the door. Overall, however, it's worth the money.

Worked great and saved me a lot of time, but I found that it worked better without the plastic cover attached. I had really thin grout lines however I think the cover would be great for grout 1/8" or larger.
