I like the Dremel router bits for their designs, but I wish they would use carbide to make them last longer. These get dull after just a few uses.

I recently found a set of 5 such diamond cutting discs (with mandrel) on sale for 4 dollars at Harbor Freight Tool. They also have other diamond tool bits at much better prices.

I wasn't expecting too much from the reviews and knowing this is all plastic. For light work its great and very easy to work with during projects. You can put the vise in differently than the photo shows allowing your to quickly remove it from the bench or desk and take it to the drill press or wherever. As discussed its not for super heavy duty work where you need a metal vise.

Nothing in the Amazon listing warned me of this. The box and front of the owner manual say "For use with Dremel 400 Series XPR." Page 5 of the manual says "For use with Dremel 400 Series XPR Rotary tool only." Reviewer "Osama I. J. Deir" says it works with his Dremel 395 series tool, and I was able to attach and run it with mine. But 2 gray plastic tabs at the saw's connection point prevent it from seating well. Ironically, you could use your Dremel to grind off the tabs and get a better connection to your non-XPR Dremel tool. But I am returning my MultiSaw because Dremel is telling me in multiple ways that it's not a good idea. Maybe it's overload issue...who knows? Nice that Amazon returns are super easy.

I never received this merchandise. I sent an email 2 weeks ago regarding the fact that I have never received this merchandise. The charge has cleared my checking account. I have to give you a thumbs down on this. Had the problem been rectified when I sent the email, I would have no complaints. Apparently this company does not care that they charged me for merchandise I never received. TAF

Feels like a good quality tool. I gave it 4-stars for two minor reasons; 1. it would have been nice if it had a variable thumb roller for varying speeds during operation (not a big deal though). 2. the precision of the motor is just not quite what I would call "harmonically balanced". It has a ever so slight crunchy/crackling sound to the motor (at least mine), but, it does not appear to impede the utility of the device. A worthy purchase.
