I bought a new one because my Craftsman one had trouble with the chuck, couldn't remove the bit. When I used the Dremel the rpm varied a bit a full which was odd and when I pressed the brush screws it changed so something was up. After using it to cut off some metal I picked it up again and it would not start. I noticed that the brushes were 1/2 the size of the ones on my craftsman. Took some parts off the Dremel, fixed the Craftsman and my Craftsman is now working like a charm. Do not buy the Dremel one!!!

Does what it's supposed to do and does it quite well just a minor bit of vibration at the higher speeds but not much to be concerned about and easy to use just pop the wheel on and off.

replacement for a worn out unit. what can you say except it's a dremel, with all that implies. excellent product.

I've had 2 of these, both dripped like mad and one never applied glue smoothly. Both of them broke internally so the trigger no longer works after a few weeks. If you need a gun that you plan to use, buy something else. If you want a gun to look good and you plan to use it very little, this might be the one for you. I won't get another one.

Haven't used it yet but it looks easy to use and will make sharpening my chain very easy... used to do it by hand this looks tons easier...

this tool is almost too small. i have found very few uses where a simple cut-off wheel would not do just as well. the accessory does a fine job when you do find the right situation, however.

I like tinkering and modifying, but for some reason I just never owned a Dremel. It's probably a cost thing, but I was able to get it for a really good price and finally caved and got this set. True it's not the standard Dremel and not as powerful, but then I don't need this for wood working. Most of the stuff I need it for is small stuff and the small and cordless nature of this tool makes it perfect. When I'm done I just place it in its charger and it's ready to go next time. I must say for such a small device it can get very, very fast... which is really where it's power lies as it's a low torque machine.
