I was not impressed with the dremel to use on pet nails. It did not do well on a small or medium sized dog and the noise really scared my dog. Now it is another thing added to the junk drawer.

This is a very nice tool - well made and with the lowest of the two speeds I should be able to file my dog's nails down with ease. Of course, dog (a white lab) doesn't think so. We have been trying for weeks but he still looks at the Dremel with great suspicion. I will update this report when and if I have any success. The tool itself is a very fine product and easy to use. The only reason I don't give it a 5 star is that it does not have a variable speed feature.

My gosh, I thought this would be perfect for the dogs nails. Especially based on the reviews. This thing is so loud on full speed even I flinch. On low speed it is tolerable but still freaks the dogs out with the sound. I didn't expect a battery operated device to be so LOUD!

Dinah our Corgidor is a real drama queen when it comes time to get her nails clipped. Unforrtunately she has been nicked on numerous occassions and she doesn't forget. The dremel tool is the perfect solution! She will sit and let us file down her nails, with no fuss! Thank you for the answer to this problem....we have a much happier dog and less Vet expesne for Pawdicures!!

This tool is way more versatile than I originally thought. It is well-balanced and remarkably easy to use. The battery charges quickly. Everything about this tool makes it a must-have. I've always thought it would great to own a Dremel, and with all the add-ons (wire brushes, polishers, cutters, grinders, sanders, etc) I'm sure I'll never rue the day I bought it.

This tool kit is relatively a good deal considering it has a lot of attachements and accessories. For someone who is going to use this tool kit for their hobby job such as small engraving work, grinding and polishing small parts like metal accessory, this is more than enough tool to have. You can do whatever you want with the parts already included in the kit. I wanted to learn engraving so I bought this little inexpensive tool. The first thing I ever did turned out really well. I engraved a hummingbird and a flower on a glass. Since then I have engraved names on stainless covered books and frames. A little loud but works well for me.
