I'm hoping that this gift of DeWalt Screwdriving and Nutdriving set will encourage him to use that DeWalt screw driver more. He also has a habit of losing things-- especially (for some reason) the Phillip heads. The bright yellow case is easy to spot in a construction type setting so I hope he doesn't lose this one altogether. PS The drive guide is going to be mine-- all mine.

Summary: Great product with a wide deck and easy to push. Handle design is awful and actually broke after several weeks of use! Pro's: - 20 inch deck is great and still extremely lightweight. Good because some overalap is required with push mower - "Blades" are safe and very effective. I have a 4 year old and 9 year old and no worries about them - Very quiet and smooth performance - Small amount of "give" in handle helps with cornering Flaws: - Small diverter behind blades can collect grass and slow you down, especially when wet - Handle design is CHEAP!!!!! I used a Fluke AC power logger to compare. The P4400 read 9% too high for a refrigerator and 11% too low for a PC. (This was done using the clamp current probes on the fluke meter so their claimed accuracy is 1%.) The P4400 seems to read within 2% for purely resistive loads like a fanless space heater. It appears to be more accurate when power factor is near 1, but it is definitely not 0.2% accurate.

I just bought my second one. The first lasted three years. That may not seem long to some people but I have a large lot. The old one still works but the handle is broken. I can still use the extra batteries. I just love this thing. I hate the gas powered ones and I will never go to the trouble with mixing the oil and stuff. I let my husband do that with his weed wacker. I guess we're just a couple of weed wacking nuts. It happens as you age... NOTE: If you do have a large lot like me, purchase extra batteries

My problem is birds making a mess around my pool--worst during a few weeks after opening each season until I make it clear they aren't welcome. i ordered this turtle because it looked adorable and i thought my baby would like it. he loves it. a lot of the reveiws are negative, but i think the product is wonderful. it was shipped much quicker than expected. my son just says 'wow' over and over when i turn it on. the amber lights are not very bright but the blue and green are very bright and visible. a lot of people complained that in order to clearly see all the constellations you have to set it up high in the very center of the room, so i guess if you are purchasing it for your older child who'd be interested in identifying the constellations you might want to keep that in mind. but, my one year old is dazzled by the turtle. thanks!

Ordered a 12-pack and three of them were shattered when they arrived. I know that it is not Sylvania's fault but I guess buying light bulbs online is not the best idea. I got them at a store and they work great. Much better than the GE bulbs.

I just bought the cordless mower and had a problem with the key getting too hot and actually fire coming out, not sure what it was but it was replaced and problem solved. The good news is Amazon took it back with no fees for shipping in either direction and a new mower was at my door in no time. Very smooth, trouble free and gracious. The mower has many good points and for this I am willing to put up with the not so good...it is weaker than a gas mower and the charge does not last long enough for me to finish in one day but the lack of smell, noise and ease of opperation are for me, the balance.

If you debating between the Skeletool Leatherman 830846 Skeletool Multitool and the Skeletool CX Leatherman 830850 Skeletool CX Multitool, know that the strip of carbon fiber is just that, one a tiny strip that looks to be more of a bit of accenting than something that improves the weight. With the Skeletool CX you are paying a premium for a darker color (but not the blade or core mettle) and a bit of composite material. Also note that the 5oz weight is listed for both knives, so the CX isn't so much lighter to make it a noted feature. This is a fantastic minimalist multi-tool which is a contradiction in terms, but not for this tool. Pluses : It feels solid, built in carabiner clip, spare bit holder.
