I've had this unit for about 3 years and it developed a leak in the bottom. Sure enough, reading reviews from here pointed me to a housing leak, just after the warranty expired. I'm single and don't need to use it much, but I think a garbage disposal should last more than 3 years. I'm gonna buy something different this time.

This faucet set is a solid performer. After going through three faucets in five years, I installed this Kohler piece in the kitchen. It is high enough to increaswe the work space in the sink, in fact it feel like I have a new, larger sink; it is not so high as to obstruct the view out the kitchen window. This is a quality product, and should last for years. It replaces a similar style faucet bought at Costco that would not stay on, and before that an Italian fauct which broke the day before Thanksgiving spraying water everywhere. According to the handman, every part of the Kohler is repairable, unlike my prior faucets which were total write-offs. Buy Kohler for quality and save in the long run. Quality product,

The design is sleek and the installation is easy and straightforward. The operation is noticeably quiet (we used to have a GE unit which was deafening), though sometimes is not very effective: some of the scrapes required couple of runs to clear out. And for a disposal, it's a bit pricy. Overall I am happy with the product and it's a keeper.

Easy intall (replaced old). Very quiet and efficeint. Although it's not that improtant being under the sink, it also is the best looking disposer I've seen.

The Insinkerator Evolution Excel is simply the best!!!! This year for Thanksgiving, a guest was helping in the kitchen and put a large amount of potato peels down the disposer. I was concerned because not only was the disposer jammed full of potato peels, but there were a bunch of peels in the sink waiting to be stuffed into the disposer. (This has happened with our old disposer and I got the privilege of trying to unclog a clogged sink - not a fun thing to do with a house full of company). I watched her turn on the disposer and to my amazement they were all disposed of without a jam. At this point the Evolution Excel was worth every penny I paid for it. I'm really glad to finally have a disposal for this house that is on septic. No matter how diligent we were, some food particles always ended up in the sink and periodically caused drain line problems. Installation was straight forward even though I did not have an existing disposal to replace. My two biggest challenges were getting an electric outlet under the sink and removing the old corroded sink flange. For electric I mounted a GFCI outlet under the sink and added the optional power cord kit and sink top switch. This eliminated the need to add a wall switch since I did not have an existing disposal. To remove the corroded flange (5 minutes max) I used a moto-tool with cutting wheel - I was working solo and didn't have anyone to help me muscle the old nut and flange ... Read More

Our water pressure is very low, and eventually the kitchen sink sprayer stopped working completely. This made it very hard to rinse dishes. So I was excited to find this item. Although the EuroJet didn't exactly turn our faucet into a "powerful jet spray," it did solve our problem without having to call a plumber. I like the double swivel action, which makes it easy to direct the spray wherever I want it. It classes up our older kitchen, too.

I bought this as a replacement for a ball valve faucet that had a leak in the main joint. Based on the reviews, I expected something basic, but reasonably solid. The majority of this faucet is cheap, brittle plastic plated with some thin plating of what seems to be pot metal. The first one I got had a manufacturing defect in the sprayer, a hairline crack that leaked whenever the faucet was on. I returned it for for a replacement, but I have serious doubts that it will last long, given its horribly low quality.

I bought this sink because it is tall so I can fill my watering can and it is very classy looking. My husband installed it (he's not a plumber) and it was easy to plug and play. It works as well as it looks and the sprayer function has great water pressure to it. Very handy! I love this faucet!
