This sprinkler was the best solution for my need to frequently water a newly-seeded lawn. It waters a 50+ ft. wide path where you lay out your hose. The only limit is how much hose it can drag behind it. When it reaches that limit, the wheels just dig into the dirt and the heavy sprinkler eventually shuts off it's water valve on the bottom.

Have purchased other brands of similar water timers in the past that were difficult to program and did not hold up well. Haven't had this long enough to speak to its durability, but it's simple to program and works great.

I was going to buy locally (Ace Hardware), but including shipping, I still saved 30% through Amazon.com. The tractor has 20 - 30 hours of use so far, and has operated flawlessly. The spray arms are easy to adjust, and the 2-speed feature is handy for new sod. Caution - check operation regularly if watering new sod, as the tractor can get stuck between pieces of sod.

This timmer is great. I usually set it for 90 min and leave. No tricky settings here.

This bracket is an absolute waste. A $15 dollar waste too! I even tightened it with pliers, not just the hand tightening knob, and still wouldn't even adequately hold the Scarecrow in position. No chance of any real adjustment with this junk design either. Ended up using some electrical PVC brackets with great success, cost about $.40 each.

Love this sprinkler - the customizing possiblities are perfect for us. We started over with our backyard (tore down garage, ripped out trees, built a deck and fence). We have three pine trees in a row, so we can't plant grass underneath (needles). This left us with a "C" shaped yard that needed steady watering since we planted seed for the new yard. On top of that, our outdoor water pressure is only strong enough for one sprinkler at a time - can't use a chain of sprinklers. This is the only thing that worked. We aren't watering the deck/house/neighbor's yard anymore. I love it. It took about 30 minutes to establish the pattern and I don't move it so the timer just goes off 3/day and the yard is basically maintenance free. The new grass looks great!

This product and company is the best. I have used these sprinklers in my yard for three years. They are easy to install, work great and the company is awesome to work with. You can not go wrong with this quality product.

I have had several of these simple to use watering systems and when used appropriately, they are great. They last four to five years, and can be gently moved to other locations. They solved my need for an inexpentive, easy to install above ground watering system.

very time consuming to set the timer for the different watering functions.rain- bird made the easiest timer to set and Gilmour could take a lesson from them for their hose bibb timer.
