Works great for putting 1/4" staples through thin material. But if you are trying to put 1/2" staples through even a few layers of paper or fabric, bring your hammer, because you have to help the staples for the last 1/8 to 1/4". And of course, the staples will just bend then. Tried to use this to tack roofing paper down and most recently for reupholstering some dining room chairs. Again, the 1/4" staples worked fine, but once the fabric was double in places, the 1/4" wasn't long enough, and the 1/2" didn't go in all the way. And yeah, I was leanin' on it too. But it does never jam.

When chosing this tool I did so contrary to other reviews. I have used Arrow staplers for over 30 years and they have always been very good. The ETFX 50 was the highest priced. I expected more. To the nuts and bolts. The tool is cheaply made and tinny. It jambs regularly. About two jambs per 1 stick of staples. You will need to keep a pair of vice grip pliers available to pull the jambed staples out of the machine. The tool does not drive the staples flush. The Stanley TRE 550 is just as good at a lot less money.

I use my Arrow glue gun for many hours each week and find it lives up to a good dependable tool. Customer service help from Arrow is top notch and parts very reasonable. I had to replace the little black movable base after I broke it. Highly recommend this tool.

Worked great for insulating a 12 x 24 room. Just watch out for your fingers. It goesright through a thumbnail with ease.

I bought the TR-100 and after less than 500 staples, the spring which drives the staples broke - and no repair parts are available. Waste of money.

This stapler is a fantastic time saver if you are installing TV cable or phone wire in attics and basements. It makes the job look finished. This will not work for 12/2 or 14/2 electrical wire. Arrow has the T72 for that, but I have not checked it out yet.

This rivet gun pulls aluminum rivets fairly well. However this weekend I tried to pull some monel rivets with little success. I was able to get them tight, but the gun just would not grab well enough to actually pop the pop rivet (strength or not). It's a decent gun that will pull soft metals, but not hard ones (no matter how much force you put on it).

I was given this as a gift after I complained a lot that I hated doing finish work. Then, after a year with no trim in our newly renovated bathroom, this made the job seem easier, and I finished it. I like it. Just recently, I pulled my ET200 out of the basement to use on some 1x6 pine boards we are using as facia around a couple of eaves over some doors on the side of the house. The nailer left the nails hanging out about a half an inch. After some deducting reasoning, I discovered that the 100' drop cord we were using was the culprit. After I replaced the long drop chord with a 20' (and larger gauge) drop cord, the nailer worked perfectly. It definitely made the job quicker, easier, and more enjoyable. Being a diabetic and having very little feeling in my hands this tool works great. Using the hammered in staples I would drop 3 or 4 staples before finally driving the staple in. This stapler cut my wiring time by 2/3rd's.
