Honda wanted almost $300 for a similar tool, and it would have taken 3 months to get...

Great price and it works great! Most of my Honda buddies have borrowed it at least once since I have got it.

This is a tool I'd like to have, but refuse to buy. It's a very good persuader. It has a ton of demolition applications. We sell a lot of them at the lumber yard/hardware store I work at.

It has one huge, fundamental flaw, which I can't say I'm surprised by, considering that Stanley is pretty much a Chinese name anymore. The flaw is that this hammer was made for lefties when the construction industry is dominated by righties. How do I know this? Look at the curve in the pry bar. The teeth scrape against the inside of your right arm when you hammer with it. Sure, you could have your wrist bent so the teeth fit into your wrist, but I don't find that comfortable, as bend my wrist and elbow when I hammer.

It was also noted by someone that the hammer head isn't ... Read More

This tool may looks tiny but it is mighty. We used it to help with installation of a heavy storm door and it was a big help!

Excellent design - highly functional - but more quality than needed. Consequently, tool is overpriced except for those who find gratification in owning "the best".

This pry bar is a good shape for, well, prying! The curve pushes the bar out far enough to get some leverage. I like the bright yellow tip that helps keep it from getting lost in darker environments.

I haven't found mine to be especially sharp. It is intended for smaller jobs, and works well for those. It isn't a problem unless you are demolishing a house with it. Just something to be aware of.

Overall a great tool to add to the kit. It could use some type of sling attachment for easier transport as lugging this thing around can become a bit tiresome. It is designed and weighted well for all uses and provides a superior level of destruction than most any other hand tool.

This is a nice tool but honestly do not think it is worth MORE THAN 10 bucks. Even at 10 inches, the shank is really small for my large hands. Made in China like most everything, I think you could go to Home Depot and get one at almost twice the size for about the 16-17 range. The small size and cost factor gives this a 3 Star only. I was mildly disappointed.

I do little nailing, but I like to salvage usable wood from junk furniture. The nail puller is fantastic, even on headless nails. Couldn't ask for more than that. Buy this and any Shark saw to get over the $25 for free shipping - great deal!

This is made in China and is not as thin and finely tapered as the original Japanese version.

It's OK, but it's a BIG disappointment if you were looking for the original. At this price it should be the gen-u-ine article, Made In Japan!

I ended up buying this pry bar after using another pry bar made by Great Neck. The Great Neck pry bar was too thick to get in between mouldings and carpet strips without using a lot of effort and some force. I picked up the SuperBar from Vaughan at Home Depot after looking at the other pry bars that they sold. The SuperBar was not only thinner but also sharper at the blade end. I just started to gut my whole house and I have to say that this cut my demo time greatly. This made it much easier to pull mouldings and other items.

I would highly recommend.
