For the price this is a good buy. I received the tools and am happy with the quality. This, as mentioned in the other review, is a "spare" set and will serve perfectly!

I got this tool as a gift from my wishlist. I had previously always been a Leatherman owner but wanted to try out a Gerber. I have to say I am impressed with the little tool. I find it to be very solidly built and like the way the blades and pliers "clunk" when pulled out for use. It is a nice size for carrying in a pocket and not too heavy. (Although I do agree with the other reviewer who said it might be too big for a car key ring as it would bang about when used with a key in a car ignition) Overall I expect this to prove to be a very handy tool for many years to come.

After years of using ordinary locking pliers and forever adjusting the size of the jaw, these pliers are wonderful. Instead of setting the size of the jaw, you set the amount of pressure to use. This will be the amount of pressure used to squeeze either a thin piece of paper or a 1-inch thick pipe. Wonderful.

Great but how could they not be? Able to handle many jobs because they are adjustable.

Good price with low quality. They work for me,i'm a carpenter so i'm not using them a lot. but it looks that the metal they are built from is soft,so if you need them for daily use i don't think they will last long.

I bought this thinking that the quality really couldn't be what was pictured for the price that was advertised (if I remember, I paid like $42.00 for this). Turns out, it's exactly what the picture looks like. The carrying case is especially rugged. If you bought all these items separately, I think you'd pay about double. I've seen Leatherman tools that cost as much as this entire kit. I bought this for my "You Have 15 Minutes to Flee" emergency preparedness kit. This is the kit I have set aside in my utility closet that I would grab going out the door if something happened, and I had 15 minutes to get out of my house and possibly have to fend for myself. Found channel locks to be of good quality, strong, lock system well machined so they dont slip. Handles dipped making them easy to grip. Recommend them over similar manufacturers.

Not much more to it. I bought primarily to use for cutting guitar strings, since other tool sets made for the specific purpose were expensive or just looked too cheap. They work great, don't feel cheap, and are definitely durable.

Although not as narrow an opening as I expected, these pliers are a great improvement for getting into tight places. GearWrench 82007 Duck Bill Double X Pliers complete the set.
