I recently purchased a house with someone that has dreams zombies are going to take over the world. When awake he's a bit more skeptical, but it's hard to not have it gnaw at the back of your mind (forgive the pun). Having done the proper research on what the best anti zombie weapons, it turns out crowbars are among the best, and titanium ones even more so because they're lighter and will tire you out less. So, I got it for my roommate for his birthday. He was very happy, and as an added perk, we can use it around the house while we wait for Z day.

My only complaint is that it's a little on the small side, so you might have to get uncomfortably close to the waking dead to bring them down.

I had ordered the shark puller but received this wicked looking thing instead. Too much of a hassle to return to Amazon, so I'll keep it. Right off the bat, this thing was taking indentations with just a couple whacks of my hammer. It is very capable of digging nails out, however, but the steel is obviously not very hard. The saw wrench is okay, but the large head of the nail pick makes it a little tricky to get on the nut. It will work on the fly, but a crescent or fitted wrench works way better. The bottle opener is also pretty poorly designed and takes a couple of tries before you can pry off the cap. It's a flashy tool, but I have my doubts as to how long it will hold up. Oh well, when it breaks, I'll just order the Shark again.

I first used a crescent nail puller on my very first job working
in a warehouse as a receiving clerk which was nearly 50 years ago.
The quality of this product has been improved over the years, but
it still is the premier nail puller of the industry. It is very durable,
tough, and undestructable. I have just completed pulling 3000 nails from
a redwood deck, and this tool worked outstanding.

This is a nice tool but honestly do not think it is worth MORE THAN 10 bucks. Even at 10 inches, the shank is really small for my large hands. Made in China like most everything, I think you could go to Home Depot and get one at almost twice the size for about the 16-17 range. The small size and cost factor gives this a 3 Star only. I was mildly disappointed.

I do little nailing, but I like to salvage usable wood from junk furniture. The nail puller is fantastic, even on headless nails. Couldn't ask for more than that. Buy this and any Shark saw to get over the $25 for free shipping - great deal!

This is made in China and is not as thin and finely tapered as the original Japanese version.

It's OK, but it's a BIG disappointment if you were looking for the original. At this price it should be the gen-u-ine article, Made In Japan!

I worked with a contractor who used one of these and thought it would be a helpful tool for my own remodeling jobs. These nail pullers work as advertised. I don't think I will ever use a claw hammer again for nail pulling. Very high quality steel and designed very well. Get one, you won't regret it!

I just pulled a headless galvanized 16d out of pressure treated 2x6 lumber where it was dug in like a tick. No problem. Pretty impressive. It also pulls nails with heads with equally little difficulty. Puts regular cat's paws to shame.

I'm a general contractor with lots of hands on roofing and framing experience. I've used several different types of cat's paws in the course of my work including the new "bear claw" type bar. I've found the Stanley to be superior to the others due to two design details. First, the short distance between the notch (where the nail head is held) and the shoulder (where the bar bends) gives considerably more leverage than a "bear claw" type puller, where the distance from notch to shoulder can be an inch or better. Secondly, the sides of the notch taper down at a relatively shallow angle and come to a sharper edge than many other paws. This gives the frustrated carpenter (me) more grace when digging for nail heads. I don't have to dig into the wood very deep in order to grab the nail. This is good, ... Read More

Tools & Hardware : MAASDAM- DEAD ON/HART TOOLS EX9 9" Exhumer Nail Puller

I saw the other review and had a different experience. I used this on an old house, and a new house, where I had to pull nails that were sunk so deep they were truely exhumed! It works far better than the pullers you get in HD. I probably pulled a thousand nails, and in the process I have dulled the tips, so am getting a replacement.

Sorry the first review had such a bad experience, but mine was totally different - thus the review.
