Throw away your old ones and quickly back away - to get one of these. There's little to say that isn't in the product description - it does what you expect it to do and it does it very, very well.

You can also drop your gym membership. This puppy is heavy. Saw some pipe to build up your biceps.

Shark 10-2204 Dowel/Dovetail/Detail Saw - and anything else you want to cut. This is a comfortable saw for those little jobs.

These saws are: 1. sharp; 2. affordable; 3. easy to use (after a short learning curve).
These saws: 1. cut a thin kerf; 5. are very sharp; 6. allow you to do precision cutting.
And: they are very, very sharp (keep bandages with them - even though you've been warned - you'll have to find out for yourself).

I have moved ALL of my other hand saws to the back of the shop. These are a joy to use. I want to have each type (and have probably bought more than I have a need for). You will have to make a new miter box because these blades are too thin for any you have.

Some tips: 1. Don't pitch them in your toolbox or truck ... Read More

I got this because I wanted a little saw to use for things that I could not use a power saw on. It rips right through composite railings, 2x4s and tree limbs. It cuts on push and pull and fast! A good choice for any homeowner.

Shark 10-2440 Fine Cut Saw - I don't know that I really need this (that didn't enter into the decision of whether or not to buy it); but after reading the Japanese woodworking books and seeing them work, I just had to have a long straight handled saw. 'Nuf said.

I bought this thinking that the quality really couldn't be what was pictured for the price that was advertised (if I remember, I paid like $42.00 for this).

Turns out, it's exactly what the picture looks like. The carrying case is especially rugged. If you bought all these items separately, I think you'd pay about double. I've seen Leatherman tools that cost as much as this entire kit.

I bought this for my "You Have 15 Minutes to Flee" emergency preparedness kit. This is the kit I have set aside in my utility closet that I would grab going out the door if something happened, and I had 15 minutes to get out of my house and possibly have to fend for myself.

It's fairly lightweight. Could easily be put into a large backpack.

My first review of a product ... Read More

I had one of these that was fantastic. My mom saw me pruning with it and was impressed. I promptly gave it to her as I figured I would just order another (which I did). The replacement is NOT AT ALL AS GOOD. The blade doesn't cut as well. The older one even well used cut like a dream compared to the replacement that was brand new. Old one was made in usa, replacement was made in prc. I have no clue whether that is the reason but I am now looking for an NOS old one everywhere I go.

Shark 10-2312 12-Inch Carpentry Saw - This started me on my addictive path to get every one of the Shark line of pull saws. From the first cut (not very straight, but that was my fault), I was sold. This is a work-horse saw. For anything other than trim, I pull this one out first.

This really is a great saw. I have a couple of other drywall saws, and this is the one I always reach for first. The thick rubber handle is "grippy" and feels great in the hand. The tip is really sharp, and strong enough to punch right through drywall (give it a little tap with a hammer for a cleaner cut).

I couldn't find my hacksaw the other day and ended up using it to saw through a PVC pipe, which it handled with aplomb. Very versatile!

i primarily bght this based on the reviews. where were they coming from i ask after seeing this cheap, flimsy, overpriced excuse for a saw. the one for ten bucks at harbor freight would be the better buy, i shoulda stuck with that.

this has a very light plastic handle with a screw knob to tighten the extended blade. the blade will not extend with the belt clip in. a rather foolish design element, not to mention the belt attachment easily comes off the knife...and there would go the saw, lost in the woods.

i feel rather ripped off in quality and price (having paid 12.10). imagine how bad you would feel at paying more. this thing at best is worth only ten bucks, and that is iffy. small priced things as this is not worth sending back, but i would never have bought this had i actually ... Read More
