In a way I feel weird reviewing a hammer, afterall it is a hammer! However, I thought I would put my 2 cents in, in case someone was looking to buy this.

I like the hammer, I have two claw hammers. This one and a wood hammer. This one seems a little top heavy to me. This may be do to a lighter fiberglass shaft, but I can easily compensate for it. The grip is comfortable and makes hammering without any workgloves effortless.

I have had this hammer about 5 years and I must say I am not disappointed in it at all. Would buy it again.

I have used a 22 oz. Fatmax framer since I was 17, and never thought titanium hammers were worth much, considering the cost, until I started working with my current employer, a barn builder, who will use nothing else. After a few days of comments along the lines of, "Your hammer is so slow," and, "Your elbow is going to fry," (we drive all our fasteners by hand, by the way - all the climbing and moving among other things) as well as the numb sensation from my right elbow down, I thought, "what the heck?" and bought me one.

After a few weeks, I'm spoiled rotten!

Having a full sized hammer weighing only 14 oz. lets me swing a lot faster, with less effort. I highly recommend one to anyone that uses a hammer as a regular part of life; if for no other reason than it's ... Read More

Nothing fancy here. Just a hammer. I wanted a 20-ounce claw hammer, and that is what I got. I have others that I like better, but there is really nothing wrong with this one. Don't really know what I was expecting, but it is just a hammer.

Not only is this a great pick that is extremely well made in the"USA". Getting free shipping was a big bonus. The pick has good balance and the leather handel should last a long time. My only suggestion is to add a little yellow spray paint to the metal just above the handel to make finding it a little easier. When you are at a dig and pile up a lot of dirt, it can get lost because it blends into the dirt pile. Also they have a plastic belt clip holder for this that actually works a lot better than the leather ones. The leather has to be worked A LOT before it is supple onough to actually stretch enough to snap both snaps.
Hope this helps!

This hammer worked well for what I purchased it for which was pounding plastic position dots into a banjo neck. The hammer is good quality for a reasonable price. This hammer will be very useful in building kit furniture. as well as musical instruments.

I bought my 1st one about 7 years ago and my second about 5 years ago. The first is for finish work only, I love it so much I bought a second one, and now I use the 2nd one for siding and trim. There is no other hammer I would use. The lighter weight makes it easier to carry all day, and it drives nails better than steel.
