This caulk gun is primarily made of plastic but it is heavy duty and well made. I have no concern about it breaking. The dripless feature works very well, but I have had some minor dripping (nothing like a regular caulking gun, however). It's best to pull the plunger back a little if you're setting the gun down.

I am replacing a high quality ($10) caulking gun I have used heavily for ~ 5 years with this PREMIUM gun. I have only used it twice, but it appears to be very well designed and built. I need to use it more to get accustomed to the features. One point that I will have to learn is the "while caulking" pressure release feature. The tube kept flowing while I was caulking which should be easy to correct.

I use a lot of caulk in my job and have used all the various caulking guns that are out there. Every time I'd encounter a new, or even slightly modified style of gun I'd have to buy it. I was continually searching for a better gun because all the guns I've used sucked. I really had given up hope for ever finding a decent caulk gun. Then I came across this Ergo-Tech thing from Dripless Inc. Finally! A caulk gun that is almost a joy to use. Bought one of these years ago at Dunn Edwards. Went back a few weeks ago and there gone did some seaching and found them at Amazon. I have tried damn near every gun out there and none compare. The guys in the shop agree. It cuts the tip, clears the seal, has a clip you put up for a no drip & slower feed or leave it off for speed. Buy it you won't be dissapointed. By the way the old gun is still in use we needed 2 more because the guys hate the others.

I used the tool for applying knockdown texture to new and exisiting walls. The tool is well made and easy to use. For a first timer at texture I was pleasantly suprised. The instructions could be a little more explicit. I viewed a video on UTube that helped a lot and filled the gaps in the instructions. I would recommend this tool.

This caulking gun is great. I put 50 + tubes of liquid nail through it and it made my project so much easier. Besides, you can tell your friends you have a caulkmaster and that is just too funny. Great product.
