This is not the type of thing I need all the time, but I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I saw it on an infomercial. So far this seems like a great product, just got it so I haven't been able to abuse it the way a tool should be beat on. I saw this on TV and found it on amazon but with free shipping. I got it because it seems like a good heavy portable vise. It comes ready to use, easy to set up. It's sturdy and feels it. It's not as light as they make it look on TV, but I think thats a good thing. The way it looks I thought there might be a lot of cast aluminum to keep the weight down. It is all steel. On TV they show it holding a 4' sheet of ply, for that you have to buy an additional jaw, just seems like one more thing to get kicked around/lost on site. ... Read More

this product worked exactly as described. It enabled my fiance and I to move a washer/dryer set, and heavy furniture just between the two of us.

I was skeptical due to small size and low price, but this product is AWESOME! I use it many times a week, and it can carry a massage table up two flights of stairs! It folds up to fit nicely in your car, and is very light. I would definitely buy another one! Fast shipping too :)

I bought this Shoulder Dolly LD1000 one year ago but never ran into chance that need to use it....till last week. Late last month, I got a new HDTV from black Friday sales to replace my 13 years old 37" console TV. But we had hard time to move the old heavy CRT TV from living room to garage. This is not a good escape ladder for kids. We have a 6 year old daughter who was not strong enough to lift this heavy ladder up to the window, unfold the cumbersome hooks, and then throw the ladder part out the window. It is hard and awkward even for an adult to do this let alone a child. Once the ladder is hooked on the window sill, you have to lean waaayyy out the window to pull the release tab, risking falling out the window to do this, especially if you are a vertically challenged. Once you pull the tab, the ladder is supposed to neatly fall to the ground without getting caught up on itself. Wrong. The ladder gets so tangled that it would require you to go 4 or 5 steps down, untangle, go 4 more steps, untagle, etc. I do not recommend this ladder.

this is a great addition to any shop. very sturdy. great clamping options for what you're working on. i have a small space to work in, so i often use this to hold my miter saw or router table. indispensable for those of use with small shops----->corner of the garage

the ladder is long enough for 3 stories and seems to be easy to use. i purchased as a gift for family. hopefully they'll never need it. i esp. like it because it seems more stable and stands well away from the building. think it might have been a little hard to repack after they checked it out though, hence 4 stars.
