The bell does ring as advertised but it was disappointing to find out it was made in China. The hole in the top of the bell was not centered so that when attached to the yoke the bell was crooked. Poor Chinese workmanship. I guess for the money it was reasonable. Make sure if you buy this bell that it has a centered hole in the top of the bell unless you don't mind a lopsided bell.
