Great product. Purchased it because of rating on Consumer Reports. Replaced my Rowenta which I paid twice the money for and this iron is way better. Would recommend (and I have to all my friend & family)

We were looking to purchase a new vacuum and checked out the consumer report guide. The top rated vacuums were Kenmores at Sears costing around $300.00. We did check them out but we couldn't get anyone in the store to tell us what the warranty was. We were told in information was inside the box in the instruction manual. We weren't comfortable purchasing without this information. So we went home and reviewed the consumer report again and discovered that this Hoover vacuum was very highly rated for less than 1/3rd the price. We were surprised at how well it cleans. The suction power is great. Cleans exceptionally well. It evens as a bit of self-propel motion. If needed, we could replace this one 3 times for the cost of the Kenmore. I bought this machine based upon the reviews found here and because my Mother has the same machine (and she LOVES hers). Amazon had great pricing and the machine works like a champ! It is so satisfying (and disgusting) to see the dirt being pulled up in the water. I recommend this machine highly. Easy to put together, easy to use and easy to clean. Only wish it would go a little farther between refills.

I also ordered these as a Gold Box special because of all of the reviews that said this brand had a noticeable, but not overpowering, scent. They did take a week or so to arrive, instead of the 2 days I've gotten used to, but since this was a GB item I figured there were lots of orders for it. None of them seem to have leaked in shipping as others have mentioned. The top doesn't fit tightly on the bottle like the instructions said it would, but that doesn't particularly bother me - if it tips over it's going to leak oil whether that part is snug or not. I've had this for 3 months now, I use it about once a week. I live in an 800 sq. ft. apartment with all tile floors, so this was a lifesaver. Pros: 1) Light, quick, easy to use. I toss the mop heads with the kitchen and bathroom rugs into the washer when I'm done. 2) No chemicals! With this size apartment, mopping the old fashioned way would have been like fumigating 3) Water dries surprisingly fast. By the time I get to the end of the room, the other end has dried off. 4) Quiet. I turn on the TV when I'm cleaning and can hear everything. Cons: 1) Doesn't clean real messes as well as I'd like. I received the vacuum in the mail this past week & it was all ready to use right out of the box....the positives end there, unfortunately. It was incredibly heavy and clunky & I could tell right away that it was going to be a pain to vacuum with. The hose it comes with is a joke. It's only 12 inches long, so you can't set the vacuum down to use the hose. You have to hold the heavy vacuum up with one hand while you try to use the tiny hose on anything--and the hose isn't very bendable, as I learned by trying to vacuum off my windowsill--which didn't work well. So, if you need to use the hose on something 3 inches in front of you and you have He-man arm muscles, no problem, but anything else & you can't do it.
