This blower/vacuum from Toro is the best for those living on smaller lots. My home sits on a lot that is only 1/5 of an acre. With my home roughly in the middle of this lot there is a power outlet always within 100 feet of any section of the lot and a 100 foot power cord works great. I use a RIGID power cord because it is 12 amp rated (like this Toro)and has orange and gray striping to make it stick out and be seen. This Toro blower/vac is really QUIET, way more than gas models and you really do not need hearing protection to use it. It really vacuums up my Crimson King Maple Tree's large sized leaves and shreds them to where I have 1 bag to about 10 if I had raked them only. If you're going to be doing work with loud equipment, these are great. They block out a lot of sound. But, they are much bigger on your head than they look in the picture, so you do look a little silly wearing them. At first, they were too tight on my head, but I put them on a cardboard box for a few days to strech them out, and now I can wear them for hours without discomfort. I'm usually quite senstive to having my head squished by headphones, so I'm glad that they stretched out eventually. They can also be combined with earbuds for very isolated music listening. I do that when using loud equipment. Just don't turn the music up too load, or you won't here anything outside at all, which could be unsafe.

I split a bunch of oak with this unit, but it would not split any unseasoned wood. It's too wet. I stacked my unseasoned oak away and will wait until next season to spilt it. Otherwise, I had no problem splitting big rounds (12 to 15 inches) of seasoned oak. Hala

it has flattened version of hex bits- that fit my bike, my double bass drum pedal, other stuff. plus multiple screwdriver bits, etc etc etc! and a great case.

These do not work. Don't read the rest of the reviews. Just trust me when I say these do not help you to move a tv, mattress, or fridge --if you are not initially strong enough to move them! These straps will barely help you. Just move it the old fashioned way.

My new air station replaces one I bought about 15 years ago. Compared to the old one, the new one inflates much more slowly, has a harder to read gauge, is larger, and has much shorter cords. Definitely a huge step backward.

While the blades are expensive relative to other types of blades on the market, the Fein Multimaster and the blades offered allow for tasks that other tools simply cannot do. I recently had an old roof decking board (slats, not plywood) warp causing a big hump on my roof. As it turned out, this was from water getting in from a bad repair before. With the Fein and the E-cut blades, I was able to cut out the warped section of board from inside the attic and replace it with a new section of board without cutting into adjacent boards and without damaging the shingles. This kept me from having to remove and replace shingles and roofing felt unnecessarily. We were having a difficult time keeping rabbits off our lawn. One had returned yet again to start another nest, after I had cautiously relocated her bunnies from her last litter to another area. I was concerned as I did not want to cause any harm to her offspring. Once this product was installed, it was able to detect the slightest motion in its path, and a stream of water would scare it off. We have not seen any more rabbits on the lawn since this was installed, however we did water down a guy sent to do some lawn work at our request!! NOTE: If the scarecrow is set at its most sensitive, a strong breeze or wind will also set it off.

DEWALT DW9116 7.2-Volt to 18-Volt Pod Style 1 Hour Battery Charger Bought two of these at one time. Works great as they are supossed to but I noticed on thing after starting to use for the first time, the little yellow refurbish button is nowhere to be found, it's in the photo but not on the units I received. But in the end, I wanted the charger to recharge my 12 volt batteries, and they do that just fine.

I don't tend to endorse products but I am more than happy with the whole range of B&D 18 volt yard tools. I started purchasing them last year and now own them all. Easy to switch from one tool to another in short time and with lots of batteries (some come with two) I always have fresh. I've found that the weed-eater works well even tho in second year. Spools are too easy to use to bother winding my own!
