This saw works as advertised. Easy to assemble and use and not hard to handle. I use the provided small bottle to manually oil the chain after each usage. The batteries are interchangeable with other B&D 18v products. The only limitation is the usage from the single battery before requiring a charge. I have two additional batteries, so this is not a problem for me , but could be for others.

It was my first experience with any kind of chainsaw and I have survived it so far. Be sure to read the instructions. Assembly was easy enough. The adjustable pole is a good feature. You will need some 30 or 40 weight oil before using it and also a good outdoor extension cord. I found the instructions on adjusting the chain confusing.

I have 25 OAK trees that have broken limbs from last storm. The reach is high enough to get to most limbs. Little motor starts easily. Very satisfied all around. The price was very good compared to the high priced models.Delivery was very swift and easy. warning in instruction manual, for occassional use only, very interesting.

I usually spend about $300.00 a year for a tree trimming service to prune shape our trees. Or I figured it was about $5.00 per branch/limb they cut. They used a pole chain saw like this. When I saw this, I thought to myself. For the price I'll try it. If it doesn't work I'll send it back and just call the tree trimming service again. Most of the trees in Arizona have thorns so this is perfect for trimming them without getting stuck. Easy to use!

I have used this pole saw attachment several times and it works great so far. The only complaint I have is that I can't find any extra extension parts to make it even longer than the ~10 feet it is to get the top of some of the larger trees in my yard. I think the family that lived at my home prior to me never trimmed any of the trees, so the tops are not very symmetrical.
